Scar tissue is not as strong as regular skin. As your stomach stretches the first place your likely to get a scretch mark is along a scar. Don't worry your old incision is not going to pop back open but it may be worth your while to invest in Maderma (spelling?) for scars.

I haven't had a c-section but had the same discomfort with my appendix scar , i applied a good quality moisturiser twice a day, it is just because the scar tissue behind the scar is stretched and it's not a pliable as normal skin. If things haven't improved before your next dr appointment mention it to him/her. I hope this helps.

I had a c-section with my first and I'm 33 weeks pregnant now and I haven't had any problems with mine but its also been 4 1/2 years since my last. I've heard of people having the burning and streching before if it was like a year or 2 after they had one.

My best friend had all 3 of her kids by c-section and I never heard her complain of anything like that. I would call your doctor and have someone take a look at it.

I haven't ever heard of this happening. I have a friend who has had 3 c-sections and expecting her 4th baby and a sister in law who is expecting her 2nd baby w/ her oldest being 14 mos. old, and I haven't heard either of the 2 say anything about this happening to them. I suggest you call your doctor and see what he/she says. This sounds painful and I hope you feel better soon!
