Sorry to tell you this, but as your rise, you may see your nausea, vomiting and headaches get worse this week. While it is called morning sickness, you may experience it at night or even in the middle of the day. There will be many changes in your body, but this week the changes are most apparent in your breasts. These breast changes may include increased breast tenderness, a tingling sensation, a darkening of the areola (the dark nipple part of your breast) and they may feel heavier then normal. I found this at http://www.babiesonline.com/pregnancy/week-by-week/week6.asp But it is important to remember that every woman is different! You may not feel any changes or just a few mild symptoms, or they may come on full force! Heartburn, constipation, tiredness, these also are things that you may be feeling.

My boobs started hurting, and that's about the time I found out I was pregnant. I hadn't started feeling sick until about week 8...so don't think you're in the clear yet! Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy!

When I was six weeks I didn't feel too different besides the fact I had not had a period and my breasts were tender. The thoughts in my head was 'am I really pregnant?", "will the baby abort?", "what am I going to do to secure a future for us?". My morning sickness and fatigue didn't hit until I was about 8 weeks, but its different with everybody. The website here is helpful on what you may expect as well as the book, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" but don't be alarmed if you don't have every or any symptom that most women have. But lots of reading will help reassure you. :)

When I was 6 weeks I was really tired and I think I had just started going to the bathroom more often, other than that I didn't notice anything.

Well, some people get morning sickness. Others are just really tired. You will probably pee A LOT! LOL! Its all caused by your changing hormones. There really isnt a whole lot that changes until you hit your second trimester. Thats when the sickness and tiredness stop (for most)and thats also when you will feel your baby move for the first time.

I remember at my 6 week check up, they just took urine and felt my cervix, blood pressure and that was it.
