kayleighrobo - 99 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) i asked my docter when i was pregnant and he said just to have hot water and lemon and paracetamol and rest because when im ill i love to have lemsips especially the blackurant one it makes you feel alot better but like in most things in pregnancy you cant take i was even told to not take many lozengers !!!x

ZOENIC - 99 days ago thanx for all your replies.. decided not to take lemsips, just good old paracetamol!! and lots of early nights :) xx

Brandi J. - 100 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't take anything more than tylenol and drink lots of OJ, and rest as much as possible! There is just too great of a risk, I always worry about 10 yrs down the road a "safe" med being listed as not safe b/c it causes a,b, and c to unborn babies. Tylenol has been used for years so I don't worry so much about it, but even still, I only use it if absolutely neccessary! I hope you feel better soon!

michaela - 100 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) If i were you i would avoid it, the Phenylephrine in lemsip may be a problem. If i were you i would take paracetamol 1000mg 4 times a day (every 4-6 hours) as necessary and also drink hot water with honey and lemon. I hope you start to feel better soon. If things don't settle speak to your gp.

mzmommy2b - 100 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) I am not sure what that is, but I do know that the only "A" list (safest for pregnancy) thing to take would be Tylonol. Check with your Dr. in any case!

LMO - 100 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) i have never heard of it you might want to check with the doctor because of the limited number of meds you can take during pregnancy

kayla-love - 100 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) I didn“t take Lemsips whilst I was pregnant. Instead I drank hot water mixed with honey and lemon.

Baby3OnWay - 100 days ago Rating: 5 (2 votes) http://www.safefetus.com/ This site was very useful to me during pregnancy. You can check any drugs, herbs etc during pregnancy/breastfeeding. Hope this helps you out!

debi - 100 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) Hi, i nearly had one the other but it said on packet, if pregnant consult doc first. I didnt bother having one in the end.

mommy-of-3 - 100 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I have never heard of this but I do know that Tylenol, regular Robutussin, and regular Sudafed are all okay during pregnancy. If in doubt I would ask your doctor though.

kbushby - 100 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i just google it and a womens midwife said she could take it. im working on nasty cold number two and what i have been taking to make it bearable is robitussin and i take some tylenol.. thats what i did with my first pregnancy also.. good luck, feel better soon.
