I am 29 weeks pregnant with my second child(She is 7 years old) and I have unusual pains kinda like cramping through out my belly and a pain inbetween my ribs in front. My belly is also firmer than usual. I have felt the baby move just not as much as usual she is alot mre calmer today. Anybody have / had this experience at week 29? Any idea on what this could be from? Thanks

i had sharp pains and stuff when i was pregnant and panicked and called the womens center and they said it was normal, as long as i wasnt bleeding or having contractions that were close together

I was having a burning cramp in my belly all over and my ob said it was my muscle streching causing a cramp/burn feeling. It could also have been you were having braxton hicks, drink a lot of water and lay on your left side and see if that helps.

What you are experiencing could be Braxton Hicks contractions painful but yet normal for the end of 2nd beginning of 3rd trimester. If they are not close together and aren't constant then you shouldn't be worried but you can contact your physician if you continue to have pains. Good Luck

This sounds like Braxton Hicks! They can be painful and very uncomfortable! Try to use them as practice for the real thing, practice your breathing and relaxation exercises when you feel them.

You may be having Braxton hicks contractions, or maybe even irregular false contractions. Also, your body is going through a lot of bone placement changes right now which will cause some pain or annoyance especially in the pelvic region as your baby drops.

yes - i am now 26+ but preg but have been preg 4 times. so, i believe what you are experiencing are braxton hicks. as for the movement, he still has just a bit of room to move plus he is also getting on a sleep schedule. he is sleeping up to 16 hrs a day or more.

This could be braxton hicks or stretching pains. I would tell your doctor about it and have it checked out just to make sure.

it could be kidney stones or just braxton hicks. i started getting braxton hicks with my first around 6 months and i was freaking out. but i would just lay down for a little bit and it would go away. good luck
