Ok so things just keep happening and i wonder why? I mean wouldn`t it just be eaiser if non of this happened. Only some women get so lucky, but anyway my question is now i am 5cm and they are telling my that my bag of water is outside of my cervix i guess buldging out and i was told if it broke then they could keep me here on bedrest for weeks with my water broke. I have heard that is dangerous. So what is a buldging bag and shouldn`t i be delivered within 24hrs if i rupture? I am worried enough about being 5cm now i have this i swear one normal pregnancy would have been nice. LOL!

Melanie07 - 106 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They have to deliver you as soon as possible if your water breaks. Infection can occur quickly. Also the baby needs the water to survive.

LMO - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i thought that if your water broke you would need to go to the hospital because that could cause complications

ttasha - 109 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i was told my water had broken when i was 30 weeks pregnant and they kept me in hospital for 4 days but my waters hadnt broken and your right if your waters break then they are obliged to deliever you within 24 hours

kayleighrobo - 110 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) they can actually help to prevent infection my waters slowly broke over a few weeks and the baby was fine you'll just have to take it easy very easy!!!i take it that you must not be near your due date?? if thats the case they will do what they did with me and moniter the babys heart beat 3/4 times a week and have a scan every 1/2 times a week and also will be doing a stress test to see if your babys lungs are mature enough your in good hands believe me its there job to know everything if your not happy from what they are telling you ask them to exsplain everything and write down q's for you to ask them and if you feel a bit shy asking get your partner or your mum to ask xxx

Mommyof2boys - 111 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) There's ways of them keeping fluid around your baby. You being 5cm should go into labor any time now hoping you are far enough along to deliver if not they know everything to do to keep you and baby safe. Good luck!

wildberry - 111 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) if they keep you at the hospital they will keep water inside you there are ways to do that but only in the hospital i can only guess that you are not far enough along to safely deliver your baby if you are far enough along than definitely get a second opinion because after your water brakes it is best to deliver you

skittles0607 - 111 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If I were you I would get a second opinion on keeping you. When your water breaks you should deliver within 24 hours. Its not safe for the baby or yourself not to have anything there. I wish you luck! Take it easy and dont over due yourself.

Brandi J. - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I don't have any experience w/ this, but I will be praying for you! The best advice I can give you is to listen to what your doctor tells you and if something doesn't feel right then ask questions! Don't worry about being a "pest", if you want to know something, you ask until you find your answer! God Bless!

michaela - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't deliver within 24 hours of waters breaking, it just means that you will need to have intravenous antibiotics prior to giving birth to protect you and your baby. Once the bag has burst you and baby are at higher risk of infection therefore antibiotics are used to cover you both. All the best, keep resting and legs crossed, xxx.

captshelley - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Where are you? I'm coming to get you out of there!

mommy-of-3 - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Wow I always heard if your water breaks they need to get the baby out. If I were you I would take it very easy to keep your little one safe and snug inside you for as long as you can. When your pregnant sometimes even a week or two can make a huge difference.

Baby3OnWay - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have heard that if your water breaks as long as you are in care at the hospital and being monitored you will be fine. Although your water may break, it continues to renew itself and it possible might seal back up... Your in good hand there in the hospital and on bedrest my dear just be patient and calm for your baby! Good luck

klasnaya - 112 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I dont thnk i have heard they can keep you for a few weeks but i know that if its just leaking they can give you stuff to prevent infection. Ask them how that works and if they have dont that before. I realy dont think they can do that if all your water breaks! Good Luck Sweety!

blessed-in-atl - 112 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) A bulging bag means it is extruding out of your cervix into your vagina. If you were 34 weeks they would probably just deliver your baby but at 29 weeks your should try to keep em in if you can. They will have to keep a close eye on yo if your water breaks to make sure you don't get an infection.
