Melanie07 - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) A onesie is an under shirt babies wear. It is one piece and snaps together at the bottom. They make them in short and long sleeve. They even now have a tank version. It adds a layer of warmth in cooler months. It is also used as clothing during the summer months. It snaps at the bottom to keeps the shirt held down. Here is a link with a pic and description of one. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onesie

blessed-in-atl - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Onesie is American English for a bodysuit for infants designed to conceal a diaper when worn. It is also called a creeper, diaper shirt or snapsuit. The British English equivalent is babygro. The shirt extends past the waist and has snaps or buttons that allow it to be closed over the crotch, with enough extra room to accommodate a diaper. Onesies are beneficial to the wearer and caregiver alike because they offer support to help keep the diaper in place. Onesies are frequently worn by infants in place of a shirt due to their ability to stay tucked inside the waist of pants, which is difficult to maintain with infants wearing regular style shirts. Onesies also are sometimes made so that the shirting material extends down the thigh about half-way to the knees, with snaps along the crotch to allow for the diaper to be changed without removing the garment completely.

Baby3OnWay - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its the undershirt, the ones that are full picec and clip up on the bottom, or up the front!!

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi Jay-dee, A onesie is a piece of clothing that covers the top half of the babies body. It also covers the diaper, with snap at the crotch so that you can easily change the baby. Babies wear them in the summer as an outfit, or they can be worn as a shirt, with pants over the bottom. There is a picture of one in the link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onesie

Mommyof2boys - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The little one piece outfit that buttons at the crotch.
