Has anyone else noticed that if you`re kinda crampy, have a sore back, hips hurt, ribs hurt, etc and you have sex it all seems to feel much better? I know its a kinda weird question, but I feel like it works for me! Plus my boyfriend gets excited now when I start complaining about all the obnoxious pregnancy symptoms! I`m tryin to get as much as I can now cus I know in about 2 months I won`t want it!

If you are lucky you can forget about the pain for a few minutes but for many women it comes back worse that before. You are lucky indeed enjoy!

Sex has been known to be a cure all and a problem starter! Just kidding, it's the hormone release and the increased blood flow that opens up narrowed blood vessels and restores good oxygen through out your body-It is a wonderful pain reliever and sleep aid! :) plus it brings smiles and snuggles!

Sex doesn't do anything for me except make me watch the clock and shut my boyfriend up.

OMG it goes. I thought I was the only one, but I notice even if I did no work and my hubby did it all I still felt better. It's a good energy boost too. Well enjoy LOL.

It isn't just sex that is a pain reliever it is exercise in general. They recommend when you have bad period cramps to get up and exercise because it relaxes your muscles. I find the same thing to be true about sex, which makes sense because sex is the most fun form of exercise

Yes! I find the same thing! I got hurt at work recently and my hip is right screwed up because of that, not to mention the SPD that I've been dealing with. The other day my boyfriend looked at me like I was completely insane when I after sex I said "I feel infinitely better". Like he expected that I would feel like it was a chore or something. Nope. It's the one thing that actually takes my mind off the pain, and stretches me in ways that I normally don't stretch so the pain is relieved.

Sex is a wonderful pain reliever. Sometimes, I find its the only thing that can make me feel better. It usually even helps when I have a migraine. Yay, for all those good hormones and endorphins that are released with a good ol' orgasm.

I love sex. Sex is even supposed to help with labor, and I'm going to try it.

i agree - sex helps calm me down and if i have an orgasm my child sleeps for quite awhile. its proven that the baby feels the same kind of "high" that you do during orgasm. there are so many diff positions that still allow you to enjoy intimacy.

Orgasm is supposed to help you to relax, but in my case it usually causes Braxton Hicks, so I am uncomfortable afterwards. I am expecting my 5th baby, and I am fortunate to not have had any major pains w/ my other 4 pregnancy. It is still early in this pregnancy, but I am hoping the same will be true w/ this one.

The endorphins you release during orgasm relax all your muscles so all your aches and pains disappear. Enjoy it while you can. xxx

lol Yes I think it's the endorphins that get kicked out when you have sex. I have noticed the same to be true for me too. I'm actually just starting to come around again, for the last couple months I had no sex drive what-so-ever!!
