The rotten teeth go up and down and one day you will be sure you saw it and then the next it is gone! This is a normal irritating experience especially if it makes your baby miserable. But the teeth will come in anywhere from next week to a few months it is all good. Exp with 3.

The later they get their teeth the better the teeth will be. My youngest didn't get her first till 8 1/2 months. Then they just started popping up left and right.

dont worry about it each kid is different and not all teeth around the same time, i got 4kids 3 of them who already went through that, my first started teething around 6mths but he didnt got any teeth until after his first year he was exactly 13mths when he got his first tooth, then my second baby started at 4mths teething and she got two teeth at the same time at 7mths, then my third baby got her teeth at 9mths so is very different for each baby dont worry is fine worry after 12mths or more....

My daughter started teething at about 4 months or so and her first tooth didn't get here till nearly 9months. Then they all seemed to come at once, which I have to say was nice to get done and over with all together. I heard the longer they're in there the stronger they will be... all kids are different as the average age to start getting teeth is said to be 7months!! Hang in there it will come and watch out for those eye teeth they are the WORST to come through!

My sister's children always start teething early, but doesn't get their teeth until late. Her oldest didn't get her 1st tooth until she was 11 mos. old. I have actually been told, that the later a baby gets his/her teeth, the healthier the teeth will be.

My friends' little girl is 8 months and doesn't have any teeth. Her first daughter got teeth at 5 months. I think it's normal for teeth to come in anytime in the first year. Some babies are born with teeth, some don't get them until 1 year. No problem.

my dd jensen didn't get any teeth until almost 1 yr! i wouldn't worry too much. it just gets old trying to find things your 1yr old can gum on. if your really concerned your ped. dentist can take an ex ray and look for teeth buds. i did that

A good friend of mine had the same problem when her son was little. I think he was almost a year old before he got his very first tooth. Every baby is different, some babies get their first tooth around 4 months, some around 6 months, heck some babies are even born with a few teeth already as crazy as it sounds. I wouldn't be concerned, this is very normal. :)

The 'average' baby cuts their first tooth around 7mo, my first baby didn't get his first tooth until after his 1st birthday! I also was concerned and spoke to my dentist about it, they said not to worry and they did say that the longer it takes the teeth to come in the stronger they are, their permanent teeth will most likely also be later to come in.

My daughter is just over 8 months and yesterday I felt a sharp little tooth coming through for the first time, even though I think she was teething on and off since about 3 months. I can't see it, I can only feel it for now. All the other babies I know who are younger than my baby have several teeth by now, but I know that babies all teeth differently, like all the other 'milestones' every baby is different. Don't worry about it, they will come. Aparently if the parents of a baby teethed early or late, the baby is likely to do the same. Also, I have heard that the later a baby's teeth come through, the better the teeth are (but I think that's just an old wives tale).
