You know that vasectomies are not 100 percent. Maybe his didn't take? It happens, rare, but it happens, so if you are pregnant, then you might want your new bf to go back to where he got his big V done and get double checked to see if it took or not.

i dont think ur pregnant, if you just had a baby your body is still adjusting and specially if you are nursing this happens alot if you are nursing spotting well at least to me it did. and if your boyfriend has a vasectomy dont worry there is no way u can get pregnat...good luck and congrats on your baby.

Hi Dragonfly, having tubes tied and other forms of birth control are never 100%. My friend/former co-worker had two boys (11 and 13). She had her tubes tied but it obviously didn't work. We had all been very ill at my work, so when she came down with an illness it was no surprise. What was a surprise was that she was still sick 2 months later. We had all gotten over it in about 3 weeks. She went tot he doc, and she got the shock of her life. She was pregnant! She was angry and in disbelief. The doc said that these procedures don't always work. You may not be pregnant. It could be just hormones trying to level out. I would speak with the doc if I were you. I hope that your BF is the supportive type. Good Luck!

hm... try taking a test in a couple days. Also, if he never went to his follow up appointment, then the Vasectomy could have not taken.

I have heard of people conceiving even after the man has had a vasectomy, it is not 100% foolproof. It could be something else however. If I were you I would take a pregnancy test to rule that out first, then if it turns up negative talk to your doctor about what could cause the spotting.

the only good piece of advice i could give to you is to speak to your doctor or midwife about it

That kind of bleeding can also happen if you have an UTI... even without the other symptoms. I too only had this when getting pregnant but I had this happen between my first two and it ended up being a bladder infection and yet that was the only symptom I had. BUT there are the odd .1% chance you could have gotten prego, but I dought that!

I agree w/ JennSever, also, are you absolutely sure he had a vasectomy? Take an early detection preg. test, like EPT, and see what it says. Also, it is normal for your cycle to be irregular for months after having a baby.

It's probably nothing. Maybe your about to start again. Periods can be unpredictable soon after giving birth. I have a 4 month old and BF...but still have had 4 friggin periods. What the hell?

oh the vasectomy thing..all it takes is one itty bitty sperm to change your world. as for the possible pregnancy - you will just have to wait and see. i can't say that i experienced this exact thing, but the vasectomy sit. is not unheard of!
