i went to midwife today, 3cm dilated 100% effaced she could feel the waters,lost my plug over a week ago, di you think i will have my baby soon...?

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's been my experience that within a few days of losing your plug that you should expect labour, especially knowing that you are 100% effaced. How far along are you? If you are really early, I would rest as much as possible. I was 2 to 3 cm for a month, but I don't think I was effaced at all, which would make a huge difference. have fun with your baby, E-C-L

kbushby - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) the longest it should take is about two more weeks. i had an appt on a monday and was 3cm dialated 80 effaced and he was born in the wee hours that friday. so it took me a couple days. but how exciting, you know its coming soon!!! congrats!!

brandi j. - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You are making a lot of progress! However, I had a friend who was dialated to 4 cm., can't remember how far dialated, and she had to be induced. It is so hard to know,unfortunately, those babies don't work on our schedules, they have their own! :o)

totallykatalicious - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Who is to say, I started losing my plug at around 36 weeks prego with my son, and I was 2 cm dilated at like 38 weeks, I had a scheduled induction and I thought I would go before that, and my son held on until the induction day, I was 39 weeks 4 days, only 3 days before actual due date.

I was 4cm and 100% efeced at 34-38weeks and then at 38.5 weeks they broke my water for me and I had a baby within 53mins... you may sit there for a long time or you may go soon, hard to tell but I know they have a test to see if you will go within a certain amount of time, GOOD LUCK!

Laura Ward - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Nobody can for certain tell you when you will begin labor. If I had to guess though, I would say you would definitely have a baby this week! Probably within 2-3 days. Good luck!

niki - 108 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh yeah... baby wont be long in coming now. I was 3cms dilated at 7pm and 8pm they broke my waters and put a drip up by 2am baby arrived. Good luck x
