hey.. do i find out boy or girl at my twenty week scan? (i`m 14 now)or do i have a surprise...? xx

NorthDay - 90 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They will be able to tell if it is a boy or a girl at 20 weeks. The only thing is that the baby needs to be in the right position. If the baby has its legs closed or is at an odd angle they may not be able to see. I had mine at 18 weeks and the baby did not cooperate. The us tech had me go walk up and down the stairs to get her to move but she didn't. I went for a 3D ultrasound at 24 weeks and found out it was a girl!

piggycindy - 92 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) they say it is easier to see at 20 weeks. Mine didn't shower herself until much later. She always find the right spot to hide her private part. Some peopel found out as early as 16 weeks. With mine it took 3 technician and 1 doctor and none of them figure it out.

I mostly want to know the name, so hus. and I can stop just referring to "baby" (though I'll keep the name a secret from everyone else until birth). It will be exciting either way, but don't you really want to know in a few weeks?

Waiting4Ayden - 93 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) we found out that we were having a boy at our 20wk scan....I think that as soon as 17wks they can tell...but things are a lil clearer if you wait till the 20wks mark. Hopefully your lil one will cooperate and you'll be able to find out...good luck!!

kbushby - 93 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) find out if you want to. is this your first baby?? i cant wait till delivery personally. i want to have the right color clothes and everything. cuz what if all you get is yellow and green and it comes out a girl then you have to go spend more money on girlie things.. thats my pov on it.. but some people love the wait.. maybe you should wait to decide till your right there on the table.

At my 12 week scan they told me my twin B was a boy. I let that go cause I felt it was still to early, but like I said ill be asking everytime I have an us. What do u want?

amandapmills - 93 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) i had a friend that was able to find out what she was having when she was 17 weeks..... i didnt find out until i was 23 weeks which i think is alot better because the baby has had the chance to grow a little more.... but more than likely you're ultrasound tech will ask you if you wanna know the sex when she's done doing the atanomy scan... good luck....

Baby3OnWay - 93 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) they say 20weeks is the best time to tell so whether your baby cooperates or not you will have to see. I know some people who have found out sooner, my son wouldn't uncross his legs so I never found out until my last scan at about 34 weeks... should have waited but I couldn't! I waited till birth with my first and think i might do it for my last... hard to wait that long!

Plus, I didn't want all beige, green, and yellow stuff at my shower! Yucky. give me pink or blue! I think the next baby I will want to be suprised!

niki - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) From my own personnal experience i did find out the babys gender although i was told they were not 100% sure, i was so excited i went and got a 4d scan done to get it confirmed... it was a girl. Whether you decide to wait or not when your baby arrives it is a glorious moment you will never forget. x

kathleen - 93 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) u can find out at your 20 wk scan but if u can wait till u go into labour then do it but if your like me and wanted to buy bo/girl things then i would find out at your scan. i think u will just as surpised at the scan then what u would be after giving birth. x

michaela - 93 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) You can find out at your 20 week scan. I waited and after a 42 hour labour it was just the best to find out i had just had the little girl that i had been dreaming about for the past 6 years. Next time will also be a suprise for me too.
