I am 33 weeks pregnant and I have been having mentraul like cramping in my lower back and occasionally in my lower abdomen. I called my nurse and went to the ob triage to be monitered. They said nothing was wrong... How can I relieve this pain?

MelissaJoanne - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) A lot of water and pillows, and try alternating heat and cold on the sore muscles.

niki - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Plenty of rest girl or you may find walking about might relieve some of the pain your experiencing. Not long now. x

joyfulnoise - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Put your feet up, drink plenty of water. The last month can be tough to endure but is worth every ache & pain.

selenia - 92 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) i had those also i took tylenol and layed down alot

Melanie07 - 95 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) It is very normal. Drink lots of fluids. Try laying on your left side. You can also try walking. Talk a warm bath or shower. Your baby is putting pressure down there. Your hips are also spreading.

LMO - 95 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) drink lots of water try laying down on your left side it could be that you are stretching

totallykatalicious - 95 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) Keep hydrated, drink lots of water, milk, juice, etc ... warm baths, and tylenol for pain

Baby3OnWay - 96 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) drink lots of water, have a n ice warm bath or add some ice packs to your back on 15mins off 15mins and so on for about an hour or so! Tylenol may help as well!

Mommyof2boys - 96 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) It could be muscles streching preparing you for labor and the real deal, drink lots of water, a warm bath or tylenol can help and is safe to use.

mommy-of-3 - 96 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) This sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions, I would try drinking a big glass of water and lying down on your left side. If that doesn't work try taking a warm shower to relax, sometimes that helps me when I get stubborn cramps.

brandi j. - 96 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) It is most likely Braxton Hicks. Try to use these to practice your breathing exercies for the real thing. Try to relax as much as possible and warm baths may help as well. Drink lots of water!

njstewy - 96 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) I would just try to lay down. .prop up some pillows and lay on your back (gotta get a good incline though) or take a warm bath. .it has always helped me

wildberry - 96 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) i found that walking on flat ground for around ten minutes really helped me lower lumbar support i like to put a round pillow behind me

kbushby - 96 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) theres really no way to relieve it. its very normal pains that you are getting though they are just braxton hicks getting you ready for the real thing. ne thing you could take is tylenol. i dont think it works well for body aces. another thing you can do is take a hot shower or bath the hot water will help with pain the less. good luck
