Could I still be pregnant?

So yesterday was the last day of AF, and this morning I had a bit of a bleed. AF was weel and truly gone by around midday yesterday, so this isn`t blood from AF. (This was fresh blood not old blood). I felt pregnancy symptoms for over a week before AF was due, and I am still feeling them now, some of them anyway (nausea, `feeling pregnant`). Have you ever heard of anyone getting AF and still been pregnant AND gotten implantation bleeding the day after AF? The bleeding has stopped now, it was very brief and very very light. If you don`t think I could still be pregnant and that this isn`t implantation bleeding, what do you think it may be? Thanks in advance for any responses.

luvmyava - 579 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi It is possible you could be pregnant but I would go to Dr. office and ask for blood test if you really want to know.

Melanie07 - 579 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My mom had several af's while preggos with one of my sister's. Yes, you can have af's and still be preggo. I had one while preggo with my son.

lannie08 - 580 days ago It will take to long to comment all of you back, but thank you all for your responses. It's been helpful. I don't even know how many of you will read this, but I thought I'd mention that I appreciate your help!

Mommyof2boys - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Some women still have their AF even though they are pregnant.

KarenVG - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am guessing you are preggers!

Baby3OnWay - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) some poepl still get a light period when pregnant and it could be implantation bleeding. Try a test in the next few days to come or check with your Dr with a blood test to see if you are prego!

wildberry - 580 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i had a full period with my first i felt sick but didnt know i was pregnant till i missed my next period

MelissaJoanne - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Here's the weirdest example that I can give you, to say yes: a friend of mine had a baby in the fall, and had NO idea that she was pregnant. She got her period throughout, gained no weight, and didn't know that she was pregnant until she went into labour/delivered on her living room floor. (miraculously, her daughter is healthy and thriving despite the obvious lack of pre-natal care). It's not something that I would've believed or thought possible previously. So I'll say, it's not common, but it is possible to have your period and still actually be pregnant.

brandi j. - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This is possible, my home Ec. teacher in high school told us that she had her cycle for the 1st 2 -3 months w/ her pregnancies. She told us this when we were studying the section in our book about knowing you were preg. by the absent of AF, so she said that it was very possible to have AF and be pregnant b/c that is what she did. I suggest you take a test, and see what you get! :o) And then again, it may have just been some blood that was left over from AF, and so after sleeping last night it built up and and came out this morning after you rose. Either way, it will not hurt to take that test! :o) Best of luck!

gr8scottswife - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Take a test.

mommy-of-3 - 580 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I once knew a girl who got her "period" for almost 5 months and come to find out she was pregnant the entire time and had no idea so yes it can happen!! I would take a test at the end of the week just to check things out.

riknlee - 580 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) A girl I used to work with got everybody stressed as she was pregnant but used to bleed on and off throughout her pregnancy. Every time she would be convinced she was having a miscarriage, so yes it can happen, but only a test will tell you if you are pregnant or not. I have been to the doc's countless times with the feeling that I am pregnant but haven't been. I dont think it is implantation bleeding though; just a gut feeling. Good luck with your ttc and have you tried the website 'fertility friend'? It is awesome and they send you newsletters all about ttc.
