Hi Mommies! Ok im 15 weeks pregnant w/ twins due 10/15. My dr said i would most lightly not make it to that date, but go in the middle of September. Around how many weeks of pregnacy should i ask my family to set my baby shower around. Thanks so much Smoochies

luvmyava - 174 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would say around 32 weeks Congrats& Good luck with your pregnancy!

mumofsoontobe5 - 174 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I just had my shower and Im 28 weeks with twins. Better to be safe!!

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 174 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would do it a month or so before the birth, but if you prefer to have them meet the new addition then I would not do it before the baby is two months old. Too many germs, baby's immune system can't handle it. I didn't have a shower for my first, I wanted one but it didn't work out. I really want one this ime around, so I will wait until the baby is here. That way, people will be able to buy gender specific things instead of gender neutral. One reason to have the shower after is this: after the baby, people expect your house to be a mess, LOL. Another reason is that they will all want to come a second time, usually unannounced to see the baby. That is not convenient, and people will be coming all the time, when all you really want to do is sleep. My vote is to do it after, but do what feels right to you. Hope this helps, E-C-L

KarenVG - 174 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would suggestby 30 weeks or wait until afterwards, so they can see the babies at the same time!

windchime - 174 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My sis had her twins at 33 wks and was put on bedrest over a month before that. I would suggest having the shower before 30 wks.

LMO - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would due it at least a month or two before the due date

Mommyof2boys - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would do it around 30 weeks, usualy twins come around 32/34 weeks. Good luck!

daycaremama - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had my shower at 29weeks. Iwent into the hospital at 32 weeks and had to stay for a month until I delivered my twins at 36wks

Baby3OnWay - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 6 or 7 months is when my family makes the showers for!!!!! mainly around 7-8 I should say but I minis a month for You case of your situation HAHA Talk Again soon!!!

mzmommy2b - 175 days ago Rating: 3 (2 votes) I would say the safest would be 34 weeks. Most twins are born around week 35-37, so 34 should be good. Giving you about a week to settle everything in. Good luck and congrats!

brandi j. - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would suggest early August, b/c it is not uncommon for twins to come a month early. And you want to have it at a time, that you are still not completely uncomfortable and you can enjoy it, and be able to get everything set up before the babies get here. And at this point, you will be far enough along that you will know the sex of the babies if you find out.

mommy-of-3 - 175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If they are thinking 10/15 for your date I would suggest doing it sometime before 9/15 that way you have plenty of time to get everything together. Congratulations on your twins!!
