Pampers or Huggies and why? I`ve heard mothers say they prefer certain brands at certain ages. Just wondering which is best for what age and why?

Pampers isn't stretchy around the waist and huggies is so there is a better fit I think. Also huggies is the only one not even Luvs or pampers worked for leak protection...but to each his/her own!

luvmyava - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) We always had problems with leaks with any other brand but pampers. I would esp. suggest them @ night when you dont change diapers as often. I have heard of babies getting rashes from all brands though so you may have to test a couple to see whats best for your babe

Melanie07 - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It really depends on the baby. My first could only use Luvs. My second and third can only use Huggies. Huggies are the only ones that don't leak. When they get to size 4 they also make an overnight. It is great. She doesn't wake up wet anymore. Luvs gave my 2nd and third a rash. pampers just leak.

kendrab - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) pampers all the way. my daughter would be floating by morning and they are the only ones that didnt break her out or leave little jelly balls all over her bottom by morning. but luvs are pretty good too and a bit cheaper.

KarenVG - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have had nothing but trouble with huggies they always leaked and that is a pain...Pampers have never leaked for either of my kids. However we all come in different shapes and sizes so you really have to figure it out for your kid. I now use parents choice from Walmart, they are really good and cheaper. No name brands are worth trying as you will spend a lot of money in the formative years on diapers!

They even have a weird smell when they are a bit wet. My kids get such bad rash from them i cannot use them. I love huggies and think there are no better. They take in alot and have no smell. Love them!

I know newborns PAMPERS is best, after that its just more like trial and error depending on your little one. With my daughter I used hugies the first year,then pampers after that. With my sone I am currently using whatever people bring buy.. I have a family that likes to bring a bag of diapers when they come for a visit!!! Mostley pampers though for now

I've bought mostly Pampers , but I do have some Huggies. .but I plan on trying out Luvs and WhiteCloud to see how they compare. .but some baby's will break out in a rash to some diapers. P.S. - The pampers company makes luvs. .but I really don't know the difference between them

brandi j. - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I always use Huggies Supreme in the beginning, the 1st 2 months, b/c I find that they leak the less. Pampers is the softest, however, the perfumes (the baby powder smell), break my babies out. I have talked to other moms, who say that it broke their babies out as well. After the 1st 2 months, when my babies aren't going through so many diapers, I go the less expensive route and start using White Cloud. White Cloud actually seems to absorb more than the other more expensive diapers, except for their newborn and size 1 sizes. I just recently started using bumGenius pocket cloth diapers and LOVE them, so this is what I am going to use from now on.

mommy-of-3 - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I used LUVS! They are affordable and seem to hold better, I always had problems with Huggies leaking! Pampers are okay too but if you want to save a little LUVS are cheaper.

slnkl - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i'm a pampers only b/c they are great to use for newborn infants. the diapers are designed not to touch the umbilical cord.
