It looks like you had your lovely little baby already, so this probably isn't a problem anymore! Congrats on your little one.

since you are now 39+ weeks i think what you feel now is a sign of early labor,i also had felt the same thing when i have my first baby, you don't know where the pain comes...,it's on your back, your legs, your belly and wherever...so you better pack your things you need and the baby...

Its the position of your baby on your spine, pushing/pinching nerves that causes this

Sorry, sounds like back labor. I had that with both of mine. It hurts. You could also have a pinched nerve. If you can, have someone massage your lower back and hips for you.

Oh god yes. My leg did this just before I went in to labor. My leg completely locked up on me and I could not walk... at least forward. You should take it easy and depending on the weather do not shower and let the cold air hit you muscle it will make it worse....

I had this too, it kind of goes with the territory of getting to the end of the pregnancy, the baby weighs down on your hips causing the pain.

Honey, it sounds like you are having contractions, and it sounds like you are experiencing back labor! Start keeping track of them, and if your bag is not packed, then you probably want to do that now! Alot of docs will say when the contractions are 5 min. apart head to the hospital, my contractions are never 5 min. apart, they always go from being really far apart, to less than 2 min. apart, so if they start intensifying then call your doc!

It sounds like you are in the early stages of labor, and having a little back labor which starts in your back and moves around to your stomach sometimes and sometimes just go to your legs giving you horrible pain and cramping in them. Good luck!

Everything I have read says that when the baby is engaging into your pelvis it can send pains down your inner thighs. With your first baby they "drop" sometimes weeks before labor. With 2nd an 3rd (and 4th 5th 6th or whatever) they may not actually drop till you are in labor. I am preg with baby #2 and am experiencing the same thing- sometimes I about fall over because it's like an electric shock down my legs, and apparently it's just the baby moving and pushing down into your pelvis which sometimes presses on nerves. Hope this helps!
