Hi I am currently pregnant with boy #3 due this July. I am wondering for those of you who have given birth to 3 kids, how soon did the third one arrive? My first was born exactly on his due date, my second was born about 2 days before his due date. I`m just wondering what to expect with this one. Also how long were you in labor for the 3rd? Thanks!

mommy-of-3 - 91 days ago Wow it sounds like there are a lot of differences with having the third baby, but it also sounds like a lot of you went early. Thank you all for sharing your stories, I guess I'll have to wait and see how it turns out! :)

hhall - 91 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) ha. There is no predicting. I have had 4. The first was 2 days over due, baby 2 and 3 both came weeks early so i assumed baby #4 would too. I started counting down to 37 weeks and everyday after that I was pregnant was agonizing. My ob/gyn induced me on my due date after being dilates 2cm for weeks and effaced, all ready to go.!

pepper1376 - 91 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Labor lasted two hours with my 3rd!! It happened VERY fast. Barely made it to the hospital and I didn't even get my epidural and he was 9 lbs. 6 oz.!! However; I just had my 4th and it was 12 hours... Good luck!

Melanie07 - 92 days ago Rating: 4.5 (2 votes) My first was born 10 days early. My second was born 16 days early. My third was born 14 days early. All 3 were big babies. Each person is different. A lot of third babies come early but, there is still a chance of the baby coming late. Good luck. I recommend walking a lot.

I was booked in to be induced all 3 times but my waters broke the day before.And my labours all were no longer than 5 hrs. I think with each and every pregnancy you just have to expect the unexpected. Goodluck :)

momofboys - 92 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) My first came 2 weeks early. Second a couple of days early, my water was leaking. My third was a giant I was induced 10 days early & it took 38 hours! I am due with my 4th May 3.

Brandi J. - 92 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I have had 4 children and I am expecting again. My 1st baby, a boy, was born at 38 weeks, 2 days. I went into labor on my own, and it lasted 11 hrs. 24 min. W/ baby #2, another boy, I once again went into labor on my own, and he was born at 38 weeks, 1 day, after a little over 4 hrs of labor. Baby #3, our 1st girl, was born by induction at exactly 39 weeks, that labor was 6-7 hrs long. Then my baby #4, another girl, I went into labor on my own at 38 weeks, 5 days, and that labor was only 1 1/2 hrs long. So it is really hard to predict. I think that if I would have gone into labor on my own w/ #3, the labor would not have lasted as long, but then again it could have lasted longer. W/ baby #4 I drank Red Raspberry Leaf tea and I credit that to having such a short labor, she was also the only one I have not had an epidural w/. Congrats on your #3!

MelissaJoanne - 92 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) I'm breaking your responding rule, but I am a third child myself. I was born about 3-4 weeks later than the due date, but the labour was only about 3 hours and very smooth (my mum thanks me for that!)

michaela - 92 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I haven'thad 3 kids but my bestest friend has. Her first was a week early, second on her due date and her 3rd was 3 days late. She had a 4 hour 45 minute labour with her 3rd. Good luck to you.
