I am 11 weeks pregnant and have had a headache now for about 6 days. It is not that strong, but always there. has anyone else had this problem? If so, any suggestions on how to get rid of them? I have been poping Tylenol like candy and I even tried a vaporizer with vapo mist.Nothing is working

lady26 - 84 days ago Rating: 5 (2 votes) Yea, I had a migraine around week 10 but it last 2 days but lingers for about a week. I heard headaches are common during pregnancy.

MelissaJoanne - 85 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I think I've had a headache since I got pregnant! Drink a lot more water than usual. Also, almonds are a pretty great natural headache reliever.

niki - 86 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) I would say its probably raised hormone levels... contact your doctor as you dont want to be taking too many tablets. x

Monny3 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had terrible headaches throught out my first trimester tylenol didn't help at all my doc told me to try ibuprophen and ot took ot awys every time almost instantly. So speak to your doctor obout this.

RandiLee - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Lay off the tylenol....lol....it's awesome, i take it all the time...but you don;t want to overdue. don;t take any more than the bottle recommends. I ahve head a headache since the first month...(i'm 32 weeks now, lol) drink lots of water, if you hate water (like me) drink juice, and if the headache gets unbearable, take a hot bath....with Lavender if possible.

Melanie07 - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Talk to your doc. Try drinking fluids and getting more sleep. My doc also told me that processed meats like lunch meat and hot dogs can cause headaches. Try taking it out of your diet.

windchime - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had horrible headaches around week 13-14, and Tylenol wasn't doing squat. I agree that you should drink plenty of water, and put a warm compress on your shoulders. Also, even if you're not hungry, eat regularly (like every 2 hrs). And I know it's hard b/c of the pain, but try to get out and move a little - take a walk, go for a swim if it's warm enough. It will help ease the muscle tension and get the blood flowing. Try not to be cooped up either... I know all you want to do is curl up in the dark, but it really helped me to get out and interact with people.

michaela - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Could be hormone related, make sure you keep yourelf well hydrated, well rested and try not to take too many painkillers as sometimes the drugs they contain can actually cause headaches too.

Holly28 - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The same thing happened to me at 12 weeks only it was a migraine that lasted over a week. I found the only thing that helped me was acupuncture.

MzMommy2B - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) SLEEP!

Mommyof2boys - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Try to take a warm bath and relax, drink plenty of water and keep up your meals don't skip any. Its okay to take tylenol also warm compresses or cold make help.

LMO - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) drink more water you dont want to take alot of tylenol you might want to ask your doctor

Cindie - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) talk to your doctor, it is safe for you to take Tylenol3 for a few days. they just don't really want you on it in the 3rd trimester. also, drink PLENTY of water (it can cause headaches)

mommy-of-3 - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had this in early pregnancy too it is your hormones changing,if Tylenol isn't working have you tried drinking more water or going for a walk? Sometimes fresh air really helps.

mrsbekki - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I know his sounds strange But I Swear it works!!! I get Horrible Migrains and the moment I start to get a headache I send DH to the gas station for Gatorade. I can't remember exactly what is in it but it helps with blood flow and gets rid of or helps a great deal. It is the only thing I can find to help me. Can't hurt to try.

Christina1984 - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had that in my 1st half of pregnancy. constant headaches, well mine were migraines. i would say slow down on tylenol cuz ur body is gonna become immune to it and it wont work anyway. maybe try head-on. maybe a cold rag. stay away from too much caffine as well. other than that there isnt much else to be done. hope u feel better

Baby3OnWay - 93 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) HEAD ON APPLY DIRECTLY TO YOUR FORHEAD!! haha no joke that stuff works wonders. I didn't think it would work but I was so desperate at 8 weeks to get rid of my headach, worked within minutes!!!

kathleen - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) paracetamol

denee85 - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had migraines from weeks 10-14 just about every day and it was terrible..And NO,Tylenol didn't make a dent..My only relief was when hunny got home to have him watch my other child so I could lay down in the dark with a cold wash cloth on my head for about an hour..And sleep helped too..It's just from the hormones changing so dramatically..Sometimes we just have to 'suffer' it out..They will go away soon, but if they bother you too much talk to your doctor..Good luck:)

kbushby - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i had headaches my whole pregnancy with my son.. i took tylenol all the time.

lizzie287 - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I had that problem also, I had a constant headache for the first 3 months of my pregnancy. It was unreal. I used Tylenol Ultra and drank ridiculous amounts of water to ease it. Otherwise, naps were my best friend. Good luck hun.

gr8scottswife - 93 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) WATER! You cannot get enough of it. You should drink at least half your body weight in water. I drink even more because it wasn't enough. I rarely have headaches, and when I do it is usually from tension in my neck.

klasnaya - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its normal to have headaches and yes tylenol doesnt always help. Take a zink and a vitamin B supplement thats all i can say. I know some ppl have actualy put a lemon on their forehead and said it helped but i didnt do it. I took tylenol like 2 times and it didnt help so i just lived it out. And true drink more water and Good Luck!

mommy-at-home - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Drink a Coke!

lindamc - 93 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Is your blood pressure high? Could be, I'd take it and see what it is... if not, you could be dehydrated as well!
