Has anyone tried hypnobirthing? If so, what are your reflections?

MelissaJoanne - 128 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) I suppose it would help with pain if it were to work

Baby3OnWay - 129 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) I think you have to be very open to this kind of thing for it to work I know some people it jsut wont work... sounds cool!!!

joyfulnoise - 129 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Make sure you leave yourself open to listening to your body and doing whatever feels right at the time. Don't tie yourself to one method, or they won't let you change during it because they want to respect your wishes. In trying a natural birthing method with my second, I found that it was great for the beginning of labor, but it did not work for me for the hardest part of labor. Every person is different, but I would never put myself through that again. We are now expecting our 4th and I will happily and unapologetically get an epidural, relax and enjoy every moment. :-) Good luck to you.

Mommyof2boys - 137 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) For some women it works, and its great if it does it sets your mind at ease and pregnancy just flows right along. good luck!

mrsbekki - 137 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) I know its been like YEARS, but my Grandma did this twice out of four times. SHe had a word and when she heard it she was in a zone. She was telling me about it this last weekend and said it was wonderful and was up and moving within minutes. She wishes she would have done it will all her children. It's not as common these days, but after her review I will be looking into this.

mommy-of-3 - 137 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) I'm not sure but is this where you get hypnotized before you actually give birth to make you think that there isn't any pain? I heard about something like this not too long ago, I wondered myself if it would actually work.
