I am 17 weeks pregnat with my 3rd child my youngest is 7 years old so it`s been awhile, and I was wondering if I should be concerned that I have not yet felt the baby move I am also not showing yet???

lady26 - 570 days ago Rating: 3 (2 votes) Don't worry, you are fine there are women 22wks and have not felt their baby move and they are fine.

niki - 570 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) Most people show quicker with there 2nd in your case your 3rd... i would leave it another week or two and if you dont feel any movement contact your doctor. Take care x

MelissaJoanne - 570 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) No reason for concern. Not everyone feels baby moving at 17 weeks.

Monny3 - 572 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am also pregnant with my third child my youngest is 5. This time I didn't feel movement until after 19wks.

gianna - 574 days ago Thanks to all of your responses, I do feel a little better knowing that some of you couldn't feel the baby move until a little furhter along.

amandapmills - 576 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) i didnt feel my baby move until i was 18 weeks...

lmo - 577 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) dont worry alot of pregnant women cant feel the baby until they are further along it you are concerned about it contact your doctor

NorthDay - 577 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't feel the baby moving until about 19 weeks and even then it was only slightly. Just wait though...I am at 31 weeks and wish she would just stop moving for a few hours so I can sleep! lol

UKMama - 578 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) But can you feel your fundus, or has your carer felt it (the top of your uterus). It will be about 3 fingers below your belly button now. So, if you are continuing to grow, don't worry. I didn't show, even to husband, until I was 18 weeks and still at 22 weeks nobody suspects I'm pregnant and this is my 5th! If you'd like to feel the baby moving though, lie on your stomach in the quiet and focus on your tummy. You'll feel it then!

Baby3OnWay - 578 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) This is my third and I didn't start feeling my baby until yesterday and I am in 18 weeks. It will come it just depends on the baby, position, your body structure... maybe your babys a night owl... when your sleeping thats when he/she partys in there!! It will come! take care!

jessicadarling - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I felt the baby move around 16 weeks but there were many women in the forum that didn't feel the baby move until 20 weeks or later. Don't worry about it, you still have lots of time!

mommy-of-3 - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't worry I was about 18.5 weeks this time around before I felt the baby moving and even then it was really "faint have to be still to notice them" type of movements. Then at around 20 weeks it got to be very obvious movements.

brittany1621 - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) There are so many factors that could go in to why you haven't felt the baby move yet, or maybe you have but haven't realized it was the baby. My placenta was anterior (in the front) and acted like a matress for my babies movements. I didn't feel actual movement until 22 weeks and I didn't feel kicks until about 26 weeks. Also, I didn't show until I was 21 or 22 weeks. Congrats on your pregnancy and I am sure you will be feeling movement before you know it!

michaela - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You should feel it really soon, if you do get concerned though , speak to your dr and egt a scanto check all is well. You may have already felt it but not realised it. Good luck. xx

2ndxmommy!! - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think you are okay and the baby is fine I am pregnant with my second and I did not start feeling mine till like 20 weeks I think and now Im 25 tommorrow and I feel her all the time if you are worred tho then I say see your doc

sophia786 - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) hi im 40 weeks with 1st baby and reading info on internet it would say 16 weeks and the kicks start but i was about 22weeks when i started to get my baby movements, its all about the hormones i wouldnt worrie. best of luck

gr8scottswife - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I wouldn't feel concerned until at least 20 weeks, especially since it's been a while since your last child.

totallykatalicious - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Usually after eating and you are relaxed, lay in the bed .. and see if baby will start to move.

wildberry - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) many woman do not feel there baby's till week 22 so no worries there and you might just be carrying different and that's why your not seeing your belly

kbushby - 578 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) dont be worried. im almost 18 weeks and i dont feel it, anymore. i was feeling it for a little while but it has moved its position. no biggie, you will feel it soon enough. try laying in bed late at night and putting your hands on your lower stomach. thats how i was able to feel the baby move.

Mommyof2boys - 578 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) The experts said you would feel the baby's motions around 18 weeks. But in some moms they feel them as early as 12 weeks and as late as 20. I wouldn't worry too much about it just let your doctor know and I'm sure they'll tell you everything is fine. good luck!
