You cannot hear the heartbeat until at least 6wks. It's too early

That is a VERY small baby. It is normal to not find a heartbeat already.

It could just be abit too early.... i only got my pregnancy confirmed bout that time and on my first appointment to the midwife i was scanned bout 7 weeks... i was almost 13 weeks before they listened for babys heartbeat and i was warned at that time that it isnt always possible to get it clear because of the size of the baby. Hope this has given you some reassurance. take care x

It's perfectly reasonable not to hear the heartbeat so early on. With your baby still so dinky, it isn't that unusual to not see the heart itself just yet either. But they and you did see a baby. So, yippee and congratulations! You're a mum!

I didn't get a heartbeat until around 8 weeks

When I was 7 weeks they couldn't pick the baby up on regular ultrasound, I ended up having a transvaginal one but then they saw him.

It happened to me at 18 weeks, the doc used the doppler for about 10 minutes trying to find it, with no luck I was upset too. My baby is fine, just hiding that day I think. Hope this helps you to not worry so much, E-C-L

I'm pretty sure I read that the heartbeat isn't detectable until something like week 8. Don't worry too much just yet.

It's completely normal and expected to not hear a heart beat this early. I was around 9 weeks when they finally saw it on the ultrasound. Don't worry it will be soon and congrats!!!

your baby is extremely small right now. .I don't know when they could acculatly see the heart but it might not be for another week or two. .I know that you really can't hear it until around week 11
