painful contractions after orgasm?

im 18 weeks along with our second. i had an orgasm and for the first time afterwards, had painful mini contractions - similar but much less strong than my braxton hicks with my son. in the front of my belly and in my back. i know orgasms can cause contractions but my question is - i only had painful braxton hicks with my first after 28 weeks or so (they were always painful and were right up until i went into real labor - i was just a weird one i guess since most women`s dont hurt - anyways, should i be concerned if im experiencing them this early? it sucks. it feels like a dull ache all the way around like 1-2 days before getting your period.

Sometimes if the contractions are really bad the doctor will tell you to take it easy on the sex sometimes tell you its a no no if its putting the baby at risk for preterm labor. good luck!

Baby3OnWay - 92 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) I get this everytime I have sex as well and when I spoke to the dr about it he said all he could say was that since I have had multiple pregnancies I am more suseptable to the feelings earlier then I was in the earlier pregnancies... but Its normal. Try not to think about it, I just take it like a man, roll over and sleep! HAHAHA sorry hunny my turn to turn on you... LOL

I had my baby girl early cuz sex put me into labor at 35 weeks and a couple days. They held me till 36 weeks or the day before that then i had her. Just watch that if it continues to get worst dont let hubby finish inside you. But sometimes just the sex alone will do that...it sucks!!!

kbushby - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) when i have sex(no orgasm) i hurt afterwards and am sensitive the next day. i dont see why it would be bad. things are a lot different second time around, and things happen sooner, so ive heard.
