Okey well I`m 29 wks and for around the last 3 months after myself and my partner have sex the outside of my vagina stings realy bad, kind of like a burning feeling. This never happened before I became pregnant. Has this ever happened to anyone elce? Im afraid I might have become allergic to his sperm or something.

lady26 - 2332 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) No, you are not allergic to his sperm. It's normal extra blood flowing makes it a little more sensitive

MelissaJoanne - 2333 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You're not allergic to him, but everything down there is a lot more sensitive. You'll probably need more lubricant, and to be more gentle than before.

joyfulnoise - 2334 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Ask your doctor at your next appointment to make sure you don't have a urinary tract infection, very common in pregnancy.

kayla-love - 2339 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This is quite common. I would use KY Jelly and things should improve and also when you wash only use water and no soap, shower gel. You have extra blood flowing around when your pregnant so some women will be wetter than usual and others drier than usual. Its nothing to worry about its all part of being pregnant. Things will return to normal once your baby is here.

Mommyof2boys - 2339 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) all the extra blood flowing makes it a little more sensitive down there, try some massage before and that may help.

Baby3OnWay - 2339 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) HAHA no your not allergic. Although you may seem to be wet from the sex and excitment I was told by my dr that it ws the friction. I started to use ky and I never felt it after that. Its because of the hormone changes and all that. Try it out though adds plessure and eliminates the discomfort! HAPPY HUMPING!! lol

Holly28 - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have this happen too on rare occasion. I was told that it is because things are extra sensitive down there due to the extra blood flow. Also, it could be that you are dryer that usual and need a bit of extra lube.

agonzales - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I get the same way too and have no idea why. Im also glad to know Im not the only one. I brought it up to my doc before and they could never really find any reason why but maybe a yeast infection but I dont really think thats it. Cause I could be fine all day until we go at it then I get it right after sex. With my first pregnancy I had it so bad where I would feel swollen down there and it would hurt to walk but they could never find the reason why.

mommy-of-3 - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Wow I get this too and have no idea why, I'm glad to know I'm not alone! I thought I had some kind of infection or something but nothing came up so I had no idea what was causing it.

luvnthebelly - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Same thing happens to me, it was to the point where it like hurt to walk or close my legs so much after i would almost cry. When I brought this up to my doctor he suggested using a water based lube like KY jelly, and to try to avoid positions that are too deep, but said sex was still safe. Since trying this we have had no problems, i still may get a little sore, but not nearly as bad as before. Maybe the same goes for you? Oh and also he suggested switching to a plain unscented soap, or just plain water to do any washing down there, as that can cause that area to become more easily irritated, and it seems to work so far.

SRHMKP - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) WELL WITH ME WITH MY FIRST PREGNANCY IT HAPPENED AND FOR ME IT WAS BECAUSE DURING INTERCOURSE I GUESS I DIDNT HAVE ANY FLUIDS AND THE THRUSTING ACTION IRRITATED MY AREA SO FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS WE DIDNT HAVE INTERCOURSE. MAYBE THAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM SO I WOULD SUGGEST FINDING A SAFE LUBE OR IF U THINK IT COULD BE SOME KIND OF INFECTION EVEN THOUGH HE MAY NOT WANT TO TRY CONDOMS. HOPE THIS HELPS.

firsttimeparent18 - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You never know it might be an infection because of so much sex,I was getting those stinging feelings after sex and when i talked to my doctor they told me it was infection due to intercourse.

lmo - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) does he use lotion or anything down there or changed soap. that could cause you to have a irritation

kbushby - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its probably time to stop having sex.. i stopped about 6 weeks before my due date cuz it hurt so much

andante - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That happens to me too - always has. I generally sting/burn after sex and sometimes it will hurt to pee too, like a UTI. But, like RandiLee said, my DH keeps a neat shop (so to speak) and it never occurred to me, but that might be why it hurts! I always try to put about a half dose of monistat and some vagisil down there afterward so that I don't get a yeast infection (which sometimes happens to me after sex too)!

RandiLee - 2340 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That happens to me all the time...this is a little personal, but, does your partner shave his....thing? Mine does, and i think that's why i hurt afterwards...because it scratches me, lol. If you were allergic to his sperm (which is SO rare.....about a 1 in 10 000 chance you are) you would probably get hives, or a rash, and maybe even ill....from what i've heard.
