so we all know what their like i was watchin a tv show where a pregnant woman was laughing then burst into tears but asked my mum when abouts in pregnancy do they start to get that bad and she told me they dont start propperly until after the babys born but i thought they was most effective whilst your pregnant but she told me their worst after birth just wanted to know which was true..

lady26 - 157 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) every woman is different, but I strongly believe it happens during pregnancy

MelissaJoanne - 158 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) No, they definitely happen in the first trimester. Going from laughing straight to crying is a little melodramatic, but it's certainly normal to find yourself crying for little or no reason.

niki - 158 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I have been experiencing spells of crying and feeling down more so now and my baby is 6 months today i have booked myself in for an appointment to see the doctor.... when i was pregnant i got very angry rather than very emotional.. grrr.

Christina1984 - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i say after birth. guess cause ur hormones are trying to go back to normal and ur stressed (and happy) with being up all night with a screaming baby. stuff like that

ashleyandcaleb - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) holy crap i hope its not worse after birth, its terrible now!i cant even imagine.

selenia - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mine was worse after birth, i had a c section done , my fiance and i were walking to the nursery and i stopped and cried and he asked what was wrong i cried i miss the baby! he said we are going to get him now . stuff on tv like happy endings on a show made me cry.

lindamc - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was worse when i was pregnant!

michaela - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was awful from about 10 weeks onwards, i was crying at adverts for animal charities, anything happy or sad, my poor hubby was continually supplying me with tissues of an evening in front of the tv. I still cry now at sad things esp. ones that invole ppl giving birth or babies.

kbushby - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i was a cry baby while i was pregnant, but it was way worse after he was born and it lasted over a year...

deborah86 - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) with my first I didn't have that much mood swings like with this one, I had more after he was born...

lmo - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes they can get worse after you give birth i remember watching tv after i had my daughter and started balling at the stupidist thing!

Melanie07 - 164 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) They start when you become pregnant. They continue past pregnancy. It varies how it affects each person. Some get it worse in the begining others in the middle, others at the end. Some have it worse right after the baby is born. Yet, others can have it all the way through. Each person is different. I would get mad at myself for crying about something stupid.

Baby3OnWay - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They begin when your pregnant and CAN get worse or better after pregnancy.. thats what they call the "baby blues" I cried for three days off and on for no reason when I got home with my first, it was just so overwhelmying I guess, with my second I was the same way only not so bad. It just depends on each person

kayla-love - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your pregnancy hormones will begin as soon as you get pregnant. They will be different will every women. Some women will cry over the simplist thing and some women seem to be stronger holding their emotions together. After pregnancy, usaually 3-4 days after birth you will also experience what they call the "baby blues" these are also tearful moments when you may feel exhausted and even useless. The way you will feel will depend on you as a person and then you may not experience "baby Blues". All women are different and each pregnancy is different. Like myself , with my 1st baby I think I cried all the way through my pregnancy and had the baby blues pretty bad. My 2nd pregnancy I didn“t cry so much I was more moody than anything and the baby blues I experience afer about 5 weeks of giving birth. If your baby blues carry on ie: after 2-3 weeks then it is wise to seek help, as this could be the onset of PND. Just enjoy your pregnancy and go with the flow and when you need to cry, scream, shout let it all out.

captshelley - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have a 4 month old and can still cry pretty easily over commercials or movies I've seen hundreds of times.

luvnthebelly - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think it is different for everyone, I am almost 30 weeks, and I have never cried so much in my life until now, even the beginning was fine, bu tnow im a mess, and i have heard as well that it can be pretty bad after the baby is born, again depends on the person.

Mommyof2boys - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think your hormones usualy act up the first of the pregnancy and then during the last few weeks. Then you can of course go through baby blues after the baby is born but not every women go through that some go through nothing at all.

Debra - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) were wAAY! worse for me after giving birth than before. I cried at just about everything. It was a combo of crashing hormones, not sleeping much for 3 days and falling completely in love with my new boy.

jessicadarling - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I notice first trimester and third trimester they are the worst. After the baby is born you are on such an adrenaline rush, and an amazing emotional roller coaster so I am not so sure it is all hormones or if it is just the overdose of emotions.

RandiLee - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's usually pretty bad in the first 3 months....then ok for a few months, then bad at the end. Then most women get 'baby blues' like mommauv4 said....and it doesn't last longer than 2 weeks. After that, it's considered postpartum depression.

mommauv4 - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is different for everyone. A lot of women get REALLY teary a few days after birth-they call it the baby blues. But all of preganancy is emotional with tears coming pretty easy.
