Ok since i started to feel baby around 13 weeks the baby has always been on the right side...Always!!! Thats where i would listen to the heartbeat with my doppler too. Well today i was getting ready for an interview and was very stressed out about something to where i had hot flashes. During that time i felt baby move to the left side and it has been there all day kicking away. I mean it feels wierd i wasnt kicked on my left side till today and i mean baby wont stop! I like the feel of it but it just makes me wonder why this happened? I mean im not worried about it but anyone else experienced this? All of a sudden baby is on the left and just stayes there?

lady26 - 84 days ago Rating: 1 (2 votes) The babies tend to change sides alot

niki - 85 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) Sounds like the baby was getting comfy... my baby stayed over at the placenta face close in and now i find my breast is her comfort... must be the heat etc.

kelsul - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my is always changing sides. it's super annoying. but there is not a lot of room in there and they just are trying to get comfy.

klasnaya - 91 days ago I dont know how my baby is laying but i just know its on the left and is kicking there lol...my son was on my right side the entire pregnancy! not kidding i had a bulge there all the time! yeah this seemed a bit weird for me since this pregnancy was exzctly like my sons except now baby moved to the left side lol...how can you guys feel how baby is laying this early? Monday is my u/s day so i will see! Thanks a bunch ladies!

Laura Ward - 92 days ago Rating: 3.5 (2 votes) The baby will move throught the entire course of pregnancy-even at the end when there is little room. While there is still room in the uterus, baby does somersaults and all kinds of crazy movements. When I was pregnant, my little one preferred the right side and you could actually see a huge bump sticking out on the right side...I felt deformed since it was so obvious! :-) I wonder if your baby is lying transveres (horiozontally) right now?

gr8scottswife - 92 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) Yes. They move around. They actually flip and flop. Sometimes I feel my baby more on my right side.

lmo - 92 days ago Rating: 1 (1 votes) yes they do move around i felt like my daughter was doing flips

Melanie07 - 92 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Yes, babies do move around. Some move more than others. There were times when I was further along I could actually see my baby moving. It is pretty cool to watch. Kind weird too. LOL

Baby3OnWay - 92 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) haha I have felt that and it just so happened the little one had actually moved into position and decided to uck his feet under my left ribs.. rib kicks are not fun!

my-lil-miracle - 92 days ago Rating: 5 (2 votes) I experienced the same thing.. since i was 4 or 5 months pregnant I always felt his little kicks on the right side and his little butt would stick out on the left side (he was head down even at that time).. so when I went to the dr. appointments his heartbeat could always be found on the left... Now whenever I go to the dr. or NST his heartbeat can be found on either side, and sometimes in the middle on my belly... (i hear his heartbeat at least 3 times a week)... I asked the Nurse why this was and she said that at this point his head is down but he moves his butt from side to side of the belly which makes a bulge on either side on my belly.. as long as he is head down I don't really care.. its' cute to see his little body change positions and fun to figure out where he's at.... Good luck!

captshelley - 92 days ago Rating: 2.5 (2 votes) Sure, the baby is just floating around checking things out.

Mommyof2boys - 92 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) Its normal for the baby to shift sides and depending on what you had to drink/eat maybe why he's kicking so much.

Holly28 - 92 days ago Rating: 5 (3 votes) My baby did that too. The first few weeks that I felt movements it was always on my right side. Then baby moved over the the left and stayed there for a few weeks. Now, I get movement all over. I think its just the natural course of things. Baby will find spots that he or she is comfy in, get uncomfy and find a new spot. Remember, as the baby gets bigger its going to get harder and harder for the both of you to get comfortable.
