If your baby was born with dark grey/blue eyes....what colour eyes do they currently have?

MelissaJoanne - 14 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes)
They could change to any eye colour, depending on genetics

lady26 - 14 days ago Rating: 2.3 (3 votes)
It depends on the parents and grandparents eye colour

All babys eyes are same colour when their born, they actually get their proper colour by 6 wks. I know a couple who are both blue n their little girls are very dark brown, how odd.

My daughter was born with dark blue eyes and now they are lightening a bit to a lighter blue. We all have blue eyes in both my and my BFs family so it was expected.

My baby was born with grey/blue eyes and at 8 months they are bright blue and beautifull. I have brown eyes and my partner has green???? Very odd, but nice.

most babies come out with a greyish / bluish eye color. its not until their eyes hit the light when they're born that their true eye color will come about. if they're meant to have blue eyes it'll stay but my son came out with grey eyes and by the next day they were already looking more brownish. and now, of course his eyes are dark brown. So if they come out with one color don't be too sure it'll stay like that, there's a good chance it'll change.

Born blue and at 6 months old they are still blue. I was told that the colour they are at 10 weeks will be their colour although i have heard of some kids eyes changing at 1 and 2 years old!!!

My daughter had dark blue eyes and they are now a beautiful sky blue. My eyes are grey, and her dads are also blue (just a different colour).

kayla-love - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes)
My son was born with dark grey/blue eyes and now he has dark brown eyes. I think if either parent has brown eyes then your child has more chance of having brown eyes.

Laura Ward - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes)
Both of my boys had dark blue eyes at birth and now they both have very blue eyes. My husband and I both also have blue eyes.

gr8scottswife - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes)
It depends on your eye color and the father's eye color. It's genetics.

My first waws born with blue and now they are brown. My second and third were also born with blue and are still blue. Most babies are born with blue or grey eyes because the pigment is not developed yet. My third had the normal blue/grey eyes when born. Now she has bright blue eyes.

mommy-of-3 - 21 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes)
I've heard that almost all babies are born with blue eyes because they haven't got their pigment in yet. Both my kids had blue eyes and now they are both dark brown.
