How can you tell which way your baby is laying? I feel movements towards my ribs, but I can also feel movements way down low just a few seconds later. Is he flipping over? Or is it his hands and feet? Or his bum? I don`t even know!!

check out www.spinningbabies.com, for info on positioning your baby. That's probably a good way to tell how baby is laying.

Usually, I can feel where the bum or head is because at least one is sticking slightly out of my belly and I have a little lump.

baby still has time to move before it gets into its final position. But next time you go to your dr. ask him/her to feel and tell you how it is laying :)

That early on I too would feel the baby moving around different locations in my stomach. It also went with the time of day. In the morning it was up high and at night it was right beside my belly button. Randomly it would be down low

i guess depends how far u r, but i can tell because when i press in on my right side i can feel the head. and sometimes it pushes its head hard into my stomach and i can really feel it then with my hand. the baby does love to kick low tho. i notice its hands in my rib now and the harder kicks must be its feet on the left side.

hm - at 22 wks they still have quite a bit of room, so the baby isn't going to pick one position and stay. my baby is head down but bum rotates from left to right. hard to tell.

I was told where you feel most movement is feet. Also, If baby gets hiccups alot it can help tell which end is up =)

I can't usually tell either because he is so active. I can tell when he turns/flips though because it is the strangest sensation ever!!

When I was at 22 weeks, like you, he was flipping over constantly.. the little 'jabs' are obviously his limbs...the harder ones usually elbows, i'm guessing.. The bum is easy to feel, and the back...because it's completely flat.

Depends on which way he is laying. You will be able to feel his head, feet, hands, and bum move. Usually the feet are in the ribs. Early on they can move around a lot. As they grow they have less room to move. You will be able to tell more which part of the body is moving towards to end.

probably his feet up towards your ribs and his head is sitting low near your pelvic with his arms.
