I have a cold and sore throat-what over the counter medicine can I take if I am breastfeeding?

niki - 81 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have only taken paracetamol while breastfeeding.

MelissaJoanne - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Until you hear otherwise from doctor, stick with tea and tylenol.

lady26 - 84 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Check at the pharmacy

lmo - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can either call your nurse or call the local pharmacist and they can let you know what over the counter meds you can take there are alot, but you always want to make sure first! sorry that your not feeling feel i know a bug is going around here and everyone is getting sick

Mommyof2boys - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) There's lots of stuff you can take, call the pharmacist and ask what they would recommend or you can call and ask your doctor. Something that works great and is natural I would say try some lemon water, vitamin C-rich lemon juice increases body resistance, decreases toxicity and reduces the duration of the illness. One lemon should be diluted in a glass of warm water, and a teaspoon of honey should be added to it. This should be taken once or twice daily.

Baby3OnWay - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would head into shoppers or a pharmacy and talk to them about what they suggest. OR call your Dr and ask. i actually stuck to vitamin C drops and lemon tea!!

mommy-of-3 - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi here is a link that I think you will find useful..http://www.askdrsears.com/html/2/T028500.asp

Love~2008~ - 88 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Check with your ob/gyn or midwife, even a pediatric doctor first but...I would assume just cough syrup (non-alcoholic) and cocoa butter lip balm or bees wax (balm) Good Luck
