Has anyone else starting bleeding around 12 weeks? I have been for a week now off and on. The dr`s have done 2 ultrasounds including 1 today and baby seems ok. Strong hb, but I`m still freaking....

MelissaJoanne - 161 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had bleeding off and on throughout the first trimester, but it has stopped now (15 weeks) and all is well

athome - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes I had bleedng at 5 weeks, 12 weeks and 26 weeks with my first. They couldn't say why it happened but she was absolutely fine, not a worry in the world. I also had bleeding with my second at 5 weeks and 10 weeks also fine healthy bub delivered at 39 weeks, i have now had spotting at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and I still freak out but again at 16 weeks everything seems to be fine - touch wood. I think some of us just tend to bleed on and off during pregnancy and its "normal" for us. Not much fun though !!

mzblondex - 164 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) as long as the ultrasounds are showing ur babys fine, i wouldnt worry too much.

lmo - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it could be implantation bleeding, just relax if there was something that looked wrong the doctor would of told you!

pregnantegyptian - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had some bleeding around my 9th week and i thought it was a miscarriage but it was only implantation bleeding and if your baby looks okay then dont worry.

joyfulnoise - 165 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Try to relax and take good care of yourself. My sister had bleeding at this same time, also had the u/s that looked fine and she had a healthy baby. Good luck!

Mommyof2boys - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My friend had her period for 4mos while she was pregnant, some women will keep it the whole 9mos others don't have it at all. If you went to the doc and everything is checking out good I wouldn't worry. good luck!

Baby3OnWay - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I actually had a normal weekly period for the first three months in my alst pregnancy.. I mean every 28days. It freaked the heck out of me and they said nothing was wrong. My son is now 5.5 months old! I wish you the best cause it is pretty scary stuff

usagi - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had bleeding with both my pregnancies. It can be very scarey, especially when they can't tell you why. With my second pregnancy I was spotting every 7-10 days and my OB found a cervical polyp was to blame. This can usually be seen by eye during a pelvic exam, and is usually nothing to worry about since it is on the outside of the womb and most women have a good barrier from outside to inside.

usagi - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had bleeding with both my pregnancies. By ultrasound they can usually tell if the bleeding is coming from the inside (which would be more of a concern)... the tech will see dark areas in your womb where the blood has pooled, or even see a blood clot. Usually if the blood isn't near/involving the placenta, the doctor won't be worried... the blood will just gradually empty out and give you spotting. With my second pregnancy I was spotting every 7-10 days throughout, starting at week 11. My OB found a cervical polyp was to blame. This can usually be seen by eye during a pelvic exam, and is usually nothing to worry about since it is on the outside of the womb and most women have a good barrier from outside to inside.

uhmanduh - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My friends mom had no idea she was pregnant because she had full on periods every month.

mommy-of-3 - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Some women just spot during early pregnancy. It doesn't mean anything is necessarily wrong, it just happens to some of us. Other times there can be reasons for it such as bleeding after sexual intercourse or after a pelvic exam.

gr8scottswife - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't worry if your doctor says it's okay.

Melanie07 - 165 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My mom had normal periods for a few months with one of my sister's. If the doc says everything is fine, then I wouldn't worry. If it bothers you too much, get a second opinion.

lady26 - 165 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) If the doctor said you are fine don't worry too much, I heard spotting is common in pregnancy. Spotting can occur in early, middle or late in pregnacy.
