Agh! I don`t even know where to look for a dress to wear to a wedding in June. My husband has been friends with the groom since they were kids, and I know it`s going to be a formal wedding, but I have no idea where to look for a MATERNITY dress to where! All I can find are casual every day dresses! Any ideas? Anyone else attend a wedding while you were pregnant and found a cute dress?

You can look at target, they have very cute maternity dresses, also I go to my normal size and look for a larger size and strech and not get maternity sometimes that works also.

A lot of bridal shops have both maturnity and regular dress that can be used as maturnity. I would try their. A lot of the styles today can be worn by a pregnant woman. You could also look into having one made. Go to your local fabric store and they usually have a book with local seamstresses that make formal clothing. That way it is made to fit you.

Try Motherhood Maternity....they have some cute stuff. And even if you just wear an everyday dress, you're going to glow just because you're pregnant! Everybody's beautiful pregnant, so I doubt anyone will be paying attention to your dress!! :)

I needed one for prom, its not a maternity dress but i had it altered to where it is,the band around the middle was moved above my belly, simple adjustments like that make finding a dress much easier.good luck=]

Check out destinationmaternity.com. It's the site for Motherhood Maternity, Mimi Maternity, and A Pea in the Pod (all owned by the same company). You can find some great formal maternity dresses at whatever price point you're comfortable with. I'm pretty sure there's a store locater, so you could go find a good fit once you've found some nice ones online. Motherhood is usually pretty nice and inexpensive, Mimi is a little pricier, and Pea is the company that outfits a lot of pregnant celebrities ($$$).

Formal maternity is hard to find. Maybe try ebay. If you can't find anything there, I would look at Motherhood.com and find a dress that you could make more dressy with the right shoe and jewelry. Have fun being pretty! :-)

I attended a wedding last month and needed something cause I DEF couldnt fit anything I had in my closet. BUT I didnt want to invest in something that I knew I'd have little use for later.. so I went to ROSS... found a dress size bigger than my norm that tied in the back and guess what?? it was only $9.99.. I wore some low heeled sandals that I had and I got alot of compliments!!

Old Navy is great for Maternity wear. As well it isn't too expensive. Don't spend a lot of money when you probably won't wear it again. Thyme is usually pretty good but kinda pricey. You are only 23 weeks so you could probably get away with some of the dresses in regular stores. I would try them too.

I would check your local bridal stores but if you can't find anything there here are a few sites that might help: www.mimimaternity.com www.davidsbridal.com www.bridesnbumps.com If all else fails you might consider buying a baby-doll style dress instead of an actual "maternity one". Lucky for us a lot of the latest styles are loose fitting in the front. Still out of ides? Try looking on eBay.

I saw lots of nice dresses at Motherhood Maternity when I was there shopping. They have a lot of nice looking sun-dresses (that don't look like sundresses to me ....) on their site
