We had our first ultrasound yesterday. The heart rate was 175. For those who were pregnant with girls was this how high their heart rates were?

Melanie07 - 200 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My youngest daughter's heartbeat was around 147. Every one is different. I don't remember what my other daughter's was. I know of people whose daughters have had both high and low hb. Good Luck!

shilah - 200 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My little girls Hb was always in the high 150's or the 160's :)

MelissaJoanne - 202 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Maybe girl, maybe boy. Good luck with your baby. I have two older brothers and I love it, so if you have a little girly I think that she will too. :-)

monica9 - 203 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) at our first u/s week 9, her heart rate was 169. It now ranges from 130-145. definitely a girl though.

skittles0607 - 204 days ago Thanks everyone for their comments... I guess we are just excited.. We are hoping for a girl because we have 2 boys right now.. If not as long as the baby is healthy we will be happy...

lady26 - 205 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) There is no way you can possible tell for sure the sex of your baby at 9 wks especially using the heart rates. However, you probable have a better chance guesssing the sex of your baby depending on how bad your morning sickness. I read somewhere that if you are having a girl your morning sickness is more severe, but nothing is for sure until you 20wks ultra sound.

Mommyof2boys - 205 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doctor said that the heart rate being high/low meaning girl/boy was just a myth. Congrats to you!!

slnkl - 205 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my girl was in the 160's....congrats to you!

Baby3OnWay - 205 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my daughter heart rate was actually high 130's low 140's!

niki - 205 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My daughters heartbeat was between 140 - 150 they say the faster the heartbeat the more chance of having a boy. Good luck x

katipillaer - 205 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) When we first heard the heart rate it was 150, but at the big 20 week ultrasound her heart rate had dropped to 136.

ashleyandcaleb - 205 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Congrats!!!my little girl's was 165.

kayla-love - 205 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I think its too early to tell yet. I had a baby girl and she was mainly 140 whereas my son was mainly 150.

amandapmills - 205 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) its too early to tell what the baby is.... i'm having a little boy and his heartbeat was 180 at my first appt.

jessicadarling - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Oh you are only in week 8. In the beginning the heart rate is high no matter what the sex. I had a girl and she was 165 in week 8. But at most of the other appointments later on she went against that myth and was in the 120s-140s which is "supposed" to be a boy.

mommy-of-3 - 206 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Congrats on finding out about your little girl! The heart rate test seems to really have no accuracy, my son was 175 early on.

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Most babies are going to have a high heartrate this early on. My baby boy had a heartrate of 182 at 10 wks, 170 at 12 wks...it lowered every week until about wk 18, where he has been in the low 140's ever since.

lmo - 206 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) the heart rate doesnt have anything to do with whether it is a boy or a girl my daughter had a low heart beat...congrates

slg3233 - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I don't believe that the heartrate can clarify boy or girl. Because I have 2 girls and their heartrate's were high and now I am pregnant with another little baby girl who is due in June and her heartrate isn't very high like that. Her's is always in the 130's-140's.

joyfulnoise - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) When we had our daughter, she was usually in the 160s. Sounds like maybe a girl! Congratulations!

lilmissred - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) yep! BUT Ive heard a few Mommies say their sons heart rates were around 160 too. My daughter this time hs been around 153ish.. Congrats regardless Mommy! :o)

mcbender3 - 206 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I am expecting a girl--due in june-- and her heartrate has always been in the 130's to 140's range.
