What did you use for bedding in your playard?

I want to let Mario sleep in the bassinet that is part of his playard when he is first born...just because of the mobile, and music, and the fact that it vibrates... but there is no bedding with it (sheets, fitted cover) I`m just wondering if you`re just supposed to lay them on it, and cover them with a blanket? I`m not sure what to do.. Also, can you buy changing table covers that fit the changing table in the playard? Thanks in advance, ladies !!*

MelissaJoanne - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They sell covers specifically for your play yard. Just make sure that whatever you use is fitted to reduce SIDS risk.

denee85 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You can buy the play yard sheets and thats what they reccomend so that it fits tight..A blanket would be considered a 'hazard' as far as SIDS....

lady26 - 86 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I think you should cover it with a blanket. For the changing table I believe walmart sells a change pad to put on it.

lmo - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can lay him on a blanket or get table covers

o0kathryn0o - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yep, Play yard sheets at Babies r us. I have a bunch of them.

Mommyof2boys - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You can lay them on it and swaddle with a blanket, or you can go to Target/walmart and get the bedding set. Good luck!

stephandisaac - 87 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) Not sure about the changing table part, but the bassinet is really up to you. They say that you shouldn't use a sheet or any loose blankets. I do. I have a sheet and a blanket and he has been perfectly fine in there. I should mention, this is my second boy. Hope you figure it out :)

njstewy - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can buy them at babies r us. .there just call play yard sheets. .that's what i got for mine

skittles0607 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had one of those. I used a receiving blanket and sometimes I just layed the baby on it.. Cover him up and he should be good to go..

mommy-of-3 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would use a recieving blanket or just lay their crib comforter down first then lay baby on top of that.

mommie dia - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you can just lay them in there it should had a lil matress-like padding right? some off them do hade bassinet sheets but they hard to find and some only come for the basic square bassinet i found some for my bassinet a month later at target but they were plain only.. so i just use her boppy and a blanket! remember not to have too much in there with them!

Baby3OnWay - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I used this with my two children and I just layed a crib blanket in the bottom... for covering I got a buntin bag balanket... safest thing!

wildberry - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i use a bassinet sheet

Melanie07 - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) You can also use a big pillowcase as a sheet. I would put something on it. Whatever you use, it needs to be tight.

Its-Chelle - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) i just use one of his biggest blankets, wrapped and tucked it, worked just fine..it was actually a quilt someone made him..

joyfulnoise - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I did this to. I just used a basinet/crib mattress cover and sheet and wrapped it around the cushioned board on the bottom. They should really make sheets that fit that part.

shootinstarzzz - 87 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) hi! I know you can buy play yard sheets that fit on the pad of the actual playard, I have a few that were given to me and they are great. I have seen them at Walmart also. I dont know about the changing or bassinet part but I would lay a recieving balnket in it when baby was laying in it or being changed so that it will easier to keep clean and you dont have to take it all down and apart and wash the actual bassinet.
