This morning, as soon as I woke up I took a $ store test, and there was a faint line, very faint. Im just soo worried to believe it. How good are the chances this is real?

But u could still tell it was there. I say go buy another test in about a week or so. If you are the line should be stronger.

JennSever - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would say your chances are..good! you can get a false negative, but not a false positive. wait 24-48 hrs and take the test first thing in the am and i bet the line will be bright and beautiful! good luck..

I then went and bought a couple name brand and also got faint positives. They were all right. I now have a 15 month old daughter to prove it. You are more likely to get a false negative before getting a false positive. They say any line is to be considered positive.

RandiLee - 86 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yeah, mine was fairly faint...take another one...I took 2, lol. The chances are of a false positive are very slim...even if it's a faint line. Those tests are about %99.999 accurate. Good luck !! :)

Ummmm....I think you're pregnant hun, congratulations!!! Take another in 2 days to see if it's a little darker, then another 2 days after that.

mommy-of-3 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Any line at all, even a faint one, is a positive. The farther along you become the more hcg there will be in your urine and the darker the line will be on your test. If you're unsure pick up another test and take it in another 4 or 5 days, you should be able to see a darker line by then because the hcg level doubles every couple of days. Good luck, sounds like you're expecting! :)

mattie4 - 87 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) faint lines are positives :). That means there was enough hcg to be detected, but that it could be very very early in the pregnancy and it hasnt had time to build up alot of hcg yet. There are false neg. but no false postives :).
