Ever since last night, it feels like my pelvic/pubic bone, and that area is bruised....it`s not...but it`s the same type of pain...and it`s worse when i stand up. I didn`t do anything last night that would cause this...does anyone know what it could be?

denee85 - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've got that and like you said it's worse when you stand up..If I sit for too long that's when I have a problem-I get up and it feels like it's soo achey..It's probably pressure from your baby down there and things situating for birth...

monica9 - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Happens to many at end of pregnancy when baby drops, but it also happened to my friend when she was still in her 1st trimester. Just things shifting

eastern-Canadian-Lady - 84 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I remember the same thing happened with me at around 8 months. It's just the baby is heavier now, so the baby is moving into to place. Maybe a warm water bottle would help to ease the pain.

Melanie07 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is just anther one of the wonderful side affects of pregnancy. Everything is is moving and stretching. I know there were times I would get up and have to sit or lay back down and reposition the baby and get up again. I found sometimes that just kinda holding the baby up a little helped ease the pain.

mattie4 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i get that too...sucks. no worries :) its normal

Baby3OnWay - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) NORMAL... another pain in the pregnancy butt. I have it too and I hate the feeling but there nothing we can do about it! PooP

mommy-of-3 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi this is very normal, the farther along you get the more pressure baby will put "down there" and unfortunately it can get quite uncomfortable.

mtnwoman - 85 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Ugh! I remember that feeling! It felt like I had been kicked in the you-know-what about 100 times. Its your baby. He is sitting lower most likely and your hips and joints are spreading and moving. Its not much fun. I remember it being about the last 2 months of pregnancy. Don't worry, its normal and it just means your body is getting more ready to get that little guy out! Good luck!

baby.bray - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I notice that you are currently 32 weeks preggo so the weight will obviously be bearing down, it sounds like pain-a-la-pregnancy :-) x hope you feel better soon x

JennSever - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) could just be added pressure of pregnancy - as your body accommodates the added weight of the baby, you will notice the pain less and it then become a dull sensation. doesn't sound great, but it's workable. good luck honey

wildberry - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it's just part of being pregnant hon

lmo - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) your ligaments are stretching and your pubic bones are separating, i had the same thing when i was pregnant and it freaked me out so i asked the doctor and it is just one of the joys of being pregnant it will go away!

RandiLee - 85 days ago Thanks a lot everybody, and especially nich-vegas-mommy2be ...Your answer completely explains it...because it does hurt a lot more when I separate my legs, lol. And it does help a LITTLE bit when I support my belly with my hand...I'm going to get one of those belts, soon. Sounds like a good idea. Because this hurtsss!

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 85 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Ah yes - the joy of the pubic bones separating. The ligaments holding them together are starting to soften, and get easily inflammed - hence the pain. Also, since these ligaments are starting to soften, it allows the two bones of the pubic area to become a little misaligned, like when you stand up or do anything that requires separating your legs (putting on pants or stepping into the bath). I have had this pain for weeks, and IT SUCKS. I have a maternity support belt (just got it Saturday) and it DOES help, but not completely.

Godispeace - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That's exactly how I been feeling since I was at the beginning of my 7th month. The pain was so bad that I had since then and it has spread to my inner thighs and hips. I know what you're going through, the doctor only suggested to go to physical therapy for my hip pains but other than that it's the weight of the baby, ligaments are so stretched that it causes pain also.

lady26 - 85 days ago Rating: 5 (2 votes) Usually, the right and left pubic bones are fused together at the midline: the pubic symphysis. The hormones of pregnancy, however, soften the dense ligaments of this joint, which allows the pelvic outlet to expand during childbirth. Occasionally, this joint becomes unstable towards the end of pregnancy, during labor, or in the early postpartum period.

ashleyandcaleb - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think its ligament pain,i feel that way all the time

Mommyof2boys - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Ligament pain, or the baby is resting deep onto the pelvic floor which will cause a lot of bruise feeling pain in your pubic bone/groin area. It gets worse through out pregnancy you can prop pillows between your legs when you sleep that takes the weight off and if its really bad try some tylenol. Good luck!

Christina1984 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i think it is actually the engorgement of blood and all that stuff. i felt that a couple wks ago but at the time i thought maybe i bumped into something and never knew, but there was no bruise. if it is the same then dont worry it will stop shortly.

njstewy - 85 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I started to get this right when I was around your week. There's nothing that you can really do, but it's just pressure from the baby on your pelvic bone. Walking around and getting up from laying down and sitting postion will hurt.

slg3233 - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The baby may have layed right there and made you sore. I have the same problem except it's not my pelvic area it is more on my right side of stomach right up under my right breast and I went to the doctor and found outt hat she was laying there and that was probably what was making me sore. Because her head is right there.

gr8scottswife - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had the same thing. I have no idea what brings this on. I could hardly stand up, too. I still have it occassionally.

niki - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If your well into pregnancy it could be the pressure of the baby... i felt this way too and as time goes on it does get very sore even after i had my daughter i continued to get this pain for a few weeks.

RandiLee - 85 days ago That what i thought....but it started before i went to bed. Just when i was walking around...it's like....extreme pressure. weird.

joyfulnoise - 85 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) The pelvis bone, as well as hip joints, can become sore simply due to the added weight to support as well as the hormones that cause the ligaments to relax and stretch for birth.

MelissaJoanne - 85 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You may have slept (or baby may have sat) in a particular position to cause a pinched nerve, and that could feel like pelvic bone bruising.
