Hi ladies I was wondering if you have had any luck with red raspberry leaf tea...if you did how long did it take? And where can you get it? Thanks!

Melanie07 - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They did have it at Kroger. That is a big grocery store. I haven't looked lately. I walked a lot with all three of my kids. It put me into labor that day. Going up and down stairs and walking everywhere. Be carefull on the stairs as your balance is a little off while preggers.

LMO - 94 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you usually can get it from health food stores

denee85 - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I used red raspberry leaf tea for about a week before I went into labor (on my due date by the way ) but I also walked and had sex too..My main thing that sent me into labor (started my contractions) was nipple stimulation...I don';t know if the tea helped, but it WAS recommended by a midwife to me....

gr8scottswife - 95 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The highest potentcy red raspberry on the market can be gotten at Nature's Sunshine.

sarahann - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I drank as many cups of raspberry leaf tea (Red Seal Natural Health brand) as I could for the last few weeks, but it did nothing unfortunately. I don't think it's meant to induce labour, but it is meant to tone the uterus and also make contractions more efficient. Aparently it's good to drink during labour too, but I don't know if anyone would want to... It says it's also good as a digestive tonic and helps ease the dicomfort of menstruation. It's only to be taken in the later stages of pregnancy.

Brandi J. - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I bought mine from http://www.birthjunkie.com/pregnancy_tea.html, I bought 2 lbs, but it was way too much, I still have some left over that I will use w/ this pregnancy as well. I really feel that this worked for me! I do not reccommend anyone using the 5 week formula though, it can cause too many dangerous problems for the baby.

michaela - 96 days ago Rating: 2 (1 votes) You can buy it in any health food shop. You can get tablets aswell as tea. I was told that you needed to start taking it from about 32 weeks into your pregnancy in order for it to be most effective.

Debra - 96 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Red raspberry leaf tea you can drink for the last trimester. I got mine at Gaia gardens, a health food store in vancouver. In the last month I took a tea called '9 month tea' which helps to nourish the uterus and prepare it for labour. (from a website): When to use There are two basic stances on the subject. There is agreement among many clinicians that in the 3rd trimester frequent (2- 3 cups per day of tea or 1 - 2 cups per day of infusion) is beneficial to the uterine and pelvic muscles. Red Raspberry Leaf contains many minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C and calcium. It also contains an alkaloid called fragrine, which lends tone to the uterus. The more radical stance is that drinking one cup of tea per day in the 1st trimester and 2 cups in the 2nd trimester and switching to the infusion in the 3rd trimester ensures a strong uterus, is good for you nutritionally and prevents miscarriage. Some say it is advised to not use it in the first trimester, particularly if you have a history of miscarriage. The more conservative stance is that red raspberry leaf can cause minor spotting in the beginning of a pregnancy, and some U.K. midwives claim an increase in miscarriage rates. Contact your midwife, herbalist or physician for more information. If you're thinking about using it, to be safe, just wait until you're 36 weeks along.

Jay-dee - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You can buy it at health shops. You are supposed to drink the tea from around 34 weeks. What it does is help prepare your uterus for labour.

MelissaJoanne - 96 days ago Rating: 3 (1 votes) It doesn't actually induce labor, it has been used for thousands of years and is supposed to help "focus" your Braxton Hicks contractions. It also helps to tone the uterus after delivery as well, shrinking it back to size more quickly and reducing bleeding. (pretty cool for a cup of tea!). Yogi tea makes a good one, and their other teas are pretty tasty too.

Godispeace - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think you should check a local farm for fresh herbs. In my case I took green tea before I went to sleep on my 40th week, that same morning I had contractions, woke up thinking I was just getting pain because I had to do #2 but ended up being labor & delivery.

lady26 - 96 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I heard castrol is very good to induce labor, my sister inlaw took it and a day later she start having contractions. The next day she deliver her baby.

KelliO - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I bought a box at Pick n' Save in the Organic section.. usually any tea isle at the grocery store :D

Christina1984 - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) u can find it at any natural health store and even vitamin stores

Mommyof2boys - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I found some at a local all organic nutritional store, you can also google it and order it off some websites.

monica9 - 96 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) I got mine at a local grocery store. The only brand I could find was called Yogi Tea. I went to vitamin shops where I thought it would definitely be and they didnt have it. It wasnt with regular teas though, it was with the health food section. If you cant find it, ask them for Yogi teas

Baby3OnWay - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) health shops, grocery stores, ... didn't work for anyone I know though

ashleyandcaleb - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) try a health store..idk about a drug store.but definitely a health shoppe.

UKMama - 96 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I tried it with birth #1 and 2. It didn't (doesn't?) induce labour but I'm convinced it's why I didn't find labour pain all that big a deal.. I started drinking it (and it's not that geart at all. Ugh) everyday, as much as I could stand from 38 weeks the first time and from 34 weeks the second time. Interestingly, I went into early labour with #2 at 35weeks and 4 days. And he flew out! I guess if you are near due, you have nothing to lose. It is well known for being a fabulous uterine tonic. Good luck!

niki - 97 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Most health stores sell it - this was one thing i didnt try. sorry
