as i get bigger, my belly button is starting to come out which I know is completely normal, but is it normal for your belly button to be a little sore (only when i push on it)

niki - 121 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yeah i noticed i was sore when my belly was stretching especially around the naval area.

Melanie07 - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, it is very normal. It is stretching into a new position. Think about how it would feel if any other part of your body decided to flip inside out.

skittles0607 - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes because of the stretching and that little one pushing against you.. Not everyone's will pop. With both of my pregnancies my belly button stayed the same.

2xmom - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes! I agree with everyone's answers! It hurts bad from all the stretching!

LMO - 123 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes it is because everything is stretching

professorpreggers - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) does everybodies bellybutton pop? Mine is kinda sensetive so I don't touch it anymore (used to clean it out since it seems like such a freaking lint trap to me) but it's looking more slanted down then popping.

Baby3OnWay - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) YES!! same with your pubic bone, feel almost like bruised! its the pressure and stretching that does that!

Mommyof2boys - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, mine does that if I mess with it, all the stuff inside is popped out and when you touch it it can cause pain.

kaylasmommy - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) perfectly normal mine did the same thing before i had my daughther last sat.

gr8scottswife - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It can be.

monica9 - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) two of my friends complained about that. one, her belly button came out and the others didnt. they said it was sore around and on the belly button. must be a normal thing b/c it stopped the last few weeks of their pregnancy.

bekah123 - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You are growing and you skin is stretching so yeah I'm sure it could be sore. I guess you could think of it like when you were young and you would get a growth spurt, where ever you were growing would be sore. If you can keep from pushing on that would prolly be best.

RandiLee - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mine hurts sometimes, too....and like ashleyandcaleb said...sometimes when i touch it my baby moves around, lol.

Debra - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes- it is a scar after all...

ashleyandcaleb - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mine is like that and it hurts..for some reason if i barley touch it my baby starts to move lol

MelissaJoanne - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I do NOT look forward to this! I told my husband if it starts to come out, he needs to push it back in. ;-) But yes, soreness is natural, which probably makes my pushing it in idea a bad one!

thx4grace - 124 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) YUCK! I hate belly buttons! I have noticed when I eat too much now there is pressure on my belly button and it is starting to get flat. I know it is going to pop soon. ICKY! ;o)

Brandi J. - 125 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes, this is normal.

Christina1984 - 125 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes i believe cuz of the muscles

lilmissred - 125 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my belly button is sometimes sore as well. just comes with the pregnancy LOL :o)

lady26 - 125 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Yes, it's normal to be a little sore because the ligaments and stomach muscles is pushing out.

slg3233 - 125 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes, that is normal. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my 2 younger ones love to poke at mine and when they do sometimes it is sore and if I touch it myself sometimes it is sore.
