how do you reeally know what your having? like signs

lyk i read that if you get hair up your stomic that its a boy. is that true? what are like signs of having a boy or/and a gurl.

Melanie07 - 159 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Each pregnancy is different. I carried my boy like a girl. I carried my girl's like boys. The heart rates were all different. Most of the the "signs" are wifes tales. Just wait till the ultrasound. I didn't have hair on my stomach with any of mine.

Tierra - 159 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i personally dont think any of those myths are true... with my first daughter i gained 50 pounds and ate everything only threw up 3 times the whole time, with my second daughter i gained 24 pounds and still ate everything and threw up all the time, and with my second everyone always said i carried like i was having a boy but nope.... so i feel those arent true

JennSever - 159 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) let me think- i have had 1 girl and 2 boys and preg w/ a girl. w/ my boys i was wider, gained weight in my nose (i swear) and with my girls i have not put on much weight nor do i look bulky - almost like i am all belly. i craved sweets like mad right now, plus i am carrying very high. but i knew in my gut what all my babies were when i was carrying them.

christina1984 - 160 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) not true i had hair on my stomach and i had a girl. i found that all the signs are just a myth. like right now if the signs were true i would be having a boy girl. cravings are a supposed sign but i crave for both girl and boy. they say heart rate is a sign but then my daughter would be a boy. none of it is true.

karenc - 160 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) there's really no way to tell -- those things about the way you carry or how much morning sickness you feel don't have any truth in reality from what i've seen. it is really fun to guess, tho, and to listen to other people's guesses. I just had a feeling my baby was a boy but other people, incl my husband, 'knew' it was a girl. mommy was right, it turned out, and we had a boy, but it was SO exciting waiting to find out!

MelissaJoanne - 160 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think that you really know when you're holding the baby! Any prediction method has a 50% accuracy rate. It's fun to guess, and there will always be various methods and old wives tales, but they don't really mean anything. An ultrasound image is more accurate than any other prediction method. But, even gender predictions from ultrasounds sometimes turn out to be incorrect when baby is born.

brandi j. - 160 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) All of those type of things are old wives' tales, and although they are so much fun to do, it cannot tell you 100% what you are having. Some ppl swear by them, and I'm glad that it worked for them, but it is not going to work for everyone. Let's face it, everyone has a 50/50 chance of getting it right! :o) U/s is the most accurate, non-evasive thing that you can do to find out, and even it's not always right, it really depends on the experience that the u/s tech has. Looking for yourself after the baby is born and in your arms is the only 100% positive way of knowing!

sarahann - 160 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My dad did the old wedding ring trick when I first found out I was pregnant and he said it would be a girl. Well, it was a girl. Also, a woman came up to me in the street towards the end of my pregnancy and told me I was having a girl because I didn't have a big bottom. (Someone else mentioned that below, apparently you gain weight in your bum if your having a boy. I'd never heard of it until that woman came up to me). On the other hand, my midwife told me that recently a woman had been told at her ultrasound that she was definitely having a girl, so she spent a fortune on making a lovely pink nursery with expensive girly furniture etc, pink baby clothes, only to give birth to a boy. I guess even modern technology is not 100%. In any case, you have a %50 chance of guessing correctly boy or girl!

lizzie287 - 160 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) There's really no way of knowing based on the way you carry or anything like that. The only old wives tale that I've read actually has some weight to it is that if you have heartburn the baby will be born with a full head of hair.

There's isn't really a way of telling unless you get an ultrasound and your doc confirms it and still that can be wrong sometimes too, some women have gut instinct and others think they know but it ends up differently.

They say if you are high its a girl low its a boy. if the year you conceived and your age are both even or odd its a girl. if one is odd and the other even its a boy. you can google it, look up old wives tales for pregnancy..
