Lately I have been constantly hungry. But, since last night, I have also been feeling like even though I am hungry, my food isn`t digesting. It feels like it is just sitting there and as if I have eaten 50 pieces of bread that have swollen up in my stomach. I am just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or if its something I need to keep an eye on. Either way, it sure is uncomfortable. Sorry to those of you who have read this elsewhere but its really bugging me. Also, if this posts twice here I am sorry too...it didn`t go through the first time.

Baby3OnWay - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I get like this every few days or weeks if I get lucky. Try and see if your Dr will give you a stool softener until then drink lots of water or fruit juices, fruit... bread can sometimes be harder on your tummy. Best of luck

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My stomach does this too, not everytime I eat but a few times a week. My doc says its from baby taking up the space where my insides are normally, so the insides are getting pushed in to other spaces where it is much tighter and not a lot of space to expand - like my stomach and diaphram muscle. It feels like I am just stretching and going to explode when it does this! Another friend of mine is due May 21, and it was only 2 weeks ago that she was finally able to start eating a full meal rather than a few bites at a time!!

mamabea - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I experienced this a couple weeks ago and a nurse suggested i take papaya enzyme it aides in digestion. it is in the vitamin section and it is not very expensive i thought it tasted like candy but worked good for me. I carry it around and if i feel like i ate something heavy i chew a couple of them up..

stephandisaac - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) That happened to me all the time when I first found out I was pregnant. I would eat something very small and felt like I had just eaten Thanksgiving dinner by myself :) It went away after a few months though...hang in there :)

bonnieheather - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) progesterone makes your soft tissue softer making your bowels really slow down, its the reason preggo ladies get really constipated as it takes longer for food to get through the gut and it dries out.. i would eat loads of fiber and drink plenty water if you can. xx

mrscolegrove - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) this happens to me all the time it normally turns out to be gas or ill have a bm in the next couple hours remember that your body is digesting slower so baby gets as much nutrients as possible

Brandi J. - 80 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) I actually had this happen tonight after eating. For me it was trapped gas, I find that massaging my stomach helps the gas to come out(my hubby would rather it stay in...lol), and this helps the heavy bloated and alot of times painful feeling in my stomach to go away. I also have taken tums and that helps sometimes as well.
