Baby3OnWay - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was told no heat on the tummy at first and then later the Dr gave me the go ahead.. as long as its not too hot or kept on longer then 15 min intervels I think you will be fine... I also find that malox (sp?) works great!!

denee85 - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You should only use a heating pad on your tummy if it's one side at a time and on a low-medium setting AND I wouldn't use it for a long period of time..

christina1984 - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) u cant use them on ur stomach only ur back. u dont want the baby's temp to rise above what it should be cuz it could be fatal. dont mean to scare u. my doc told me that

2b - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You have to try to relax. Lay down and rock yourself from side to side slowly to get it moving. Then beware!!

brandi j. - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I feel that a heating pad should be fine as long as you don't leave it on your tummy for long periods of time, I would say no longer than you would soak in a warm bath, maybe a little shorter time than that. Also, massaging your stomach will help the gas to move, I do this (my hubby would rather the gas stay contained though...lol), and I also find that Tums help me sometimes as well. It is painful and I hope that you can get some relief soon!

candace3 - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I wouldn't use a heating pad on your tummy. It might cause you to get too warm. I know even using one on your back has to be done in moderation, due to overheating. I would try tums or a massage, like lilmissred said.

lilmissred - 158 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Im not sure about heating pad, but have u tried tums?? or a belly rub/massage??both worked for me
