Is anyone else`s pulse higher during pregnancy? I am 38 weeks and my pulse has been about 80-85 beats per minute these past couple of weeks. What are everyone else`s at rest?

Baby3OnWay - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its normal as your blood levels increase for you and baby during pregnancy so your heart has to pump fast to get the extra blood supply pumping throughout your body! Sometimes i swear I can hear my heart and blood being pumped... WEIRD

christina1984 - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) no need to worry as far as i know. later in pregnancy ur pulse and heart rate go up because of the increased blood supply

CarynDubeau - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mine is anywhere from 77-98bpm. i wouldn't be too worried about it. Your body is working very hard maintaining baby.

brandi j. - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My pulse is always high! I'm not sure if it is higher when I am pregnant or not, but when I was in labor w/ baby #2, my doctor had to do a double take at the monitor to see which pulse was mine and which was my baby's, b/c my heartrate was at 120!! I do know that it is usually in the 100's, just don't know if it is higher during pregnancy, but it does make since for it to be since our bodies are having to pump so much more blood. Isn't it amazing!!

tsj824 - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My pulse rate has always been high, but now that I'm pregnant (37 weeks) my pulse is really high. I checked my blood pressure the other day and my pulse rate was 114. It is normal for it to be higher while pregnant.

nich-vegas-mommy2be - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am 24 weeks, and mine has been higher than normal. At the end of week 22, my average was 100-107 resting. It's better this week, around 90-96.

candace3 - 107 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 60 - 80 beats per minute is normal. My pulse averages anywhere between 70 and 110. Your heart is working harder to pump the extra blood and nutrients to your baby. A faster heartrate is completely normal.
