Anyone else had a baby early? My daughter was born at almost 35 weeks and completely healthy she only weighed 5lbs 7 oz but was still able to leave the hospital with me 2 days later! Just wondering if anyone else had pre mature labor/birth with their second child as well or if they were able to carry full term!?

stephandisaac - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I was early with my 2nd. He was born 36 weeks and is now almost 10 weeks old. He was healthy also. Weighed 6lbs 6.4 oz. He had Jaundice, but a lot of babies do. Hope you don't mind if I check out your profile :)

JennSever - 80 days ago Rating: 4 (1 votes) i went into pre-birth will all 3 of my babies..we'll see about this one. my 1st was 8 wks early weighing in at 4lb 15 oz and i was able to take her home as well. 2nd @ 4wks early and 4th 3 1/2 wks early. i have not had the privilege of carrying a baby to full term.

Baby3OnWay - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i went to 38 1/2 weeks... they concider that term but I went early because of a kidney defect that he had, slight gestational diabetes AND I was 4cm 100% for four weeks before they induced... I'm happy to hear your baby was healthy and at a good weight for such an early baby! I am sure the second baby will be good, they will keep an eye on you and I do know that a friend of mine had her first at 34 weeks and her second was at 39... best of luck!!

monica9 - 80 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It can go either way. My friend went early with first and went full term with second. They might just put you on bed rest at end and keep a good eye on you throughout your pregnancy.
