about how many ounces of formula should my 2 week old baby be eating?

christina1984 - 91 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) usually between 2 and 4 ounces per feeding

Debra - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mine took at least 5oz when i offered him a bottle. we would feed him every 3 hours when i was breastfeeding

Brandi J. - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My first baby was the only one to take a bottle, I remember him taking 2 ozs every 2 hours at that age. However, by the time he was 1 month old, he was taking 4 oz. every 2 hours! It is different w/ every baby, your baby will let you know when he/she is full. Also, it is best to burp your baby between ounces, your baby may not like this, but it will keep your baby from swallowing so much air and will cut down on the amount your baby spits up if this is an issure. One way for you to know if your baby is eating enough is to watch the diapers! What goes in will have to come out. The average newborn will have 5-6 wet diapers/day, and 3-4 dirty.

klasnaya - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your baby will let you know...They say babies will eat till they are full so just let him tell you how much he needs. My baby boy was growing fast and ate alot...some babies need less, so i wouldnt go by stricked oz...I would make like a 5 oz bottle and see how much he drinks.

Baby3OnWay - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My son was up to 4oz at this point but he loves his food!! he had 4oz every 3-4hours!

Mommyof2boys - 92 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Being so little their little tummys are like the size of their fist, so try not to overfeed. Around 2 weeks he should be drinking about 2 to 3oz every couple hours. If he is still fussy he might still want to eat a little more.

jen - 92 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) At two weeks, my little guy was eating about 3 ounces, sometimes a little less. Your baby will let you know if they are still hungry!
