i know what BH is. but what i want to know is where will i feel the pain if i have it? will it be up high (above my belly button) or down low (near my hooha) where did you feel the BH when u had or have them?

monica9 - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its different for everyone. I dont have pain with mine. my stomach hardens all around the center. ive heard if they are real then you will feel tightening on your sides also. i didnt get them until i was 36 weeks because i stayed hydrated but towards the end it is inevitable. you will feel them and they get stronger before real contractions start.

Debra - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) bh kinda involve the entire abdomen area. They can start at the top or bottom, even come in from around the sides. They feel tight or were painful sometimes. BH come on in response to your being dehydrated. The uterus becomes irritated from a lack of water and contracts in response. So you need to drink water or other hydrating liquids when you feel them. THey do prepare baby for labour, but if they are becoming regular and don't go away with position change and water, then you might be in labour.

Brandi J. - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I usually feel mine in the upper right side of my stomach at the top of my uterus. This is also where my real contractions hurt the worse when I am in labor. It is strange!

Baby3OnWay - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i feel them starting near the bottom and eventually all throughout my tummy!!!

Mommyof2boys - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Mine felt like the baby was closing up in a little ball and my stomach would burn really bad and be rock hard and it would come around my lower stomach like a cramp from my period.

agonzales - 79 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) Well with my last daughter I had bh contractions all the time and they kinda hurt but not too bad.. at least compared to real labor lol. The top of my stomache gets tight and it kinda cramped on lower stomache. Also I would have a hard time breathing during them.

slg3233 - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have felt them down low. And it's not really painful though.

professorpreggers - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've felt it more towards the top of my uterus and also further down--it shouldn't be too painful though, more like twinging and your belly will get kinda hard. The first time I had them it really freaked me out but now I've gotten used to them and I think I have them more than I notice them anymore.

athome - 79 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi, There is no real "pain" generally with braxton hicks you will notice your bump get very hard especially at the top. It will feel like marble or like bub is pushing his/her bottom up against the top of your tummy really hard then it will relax again after a few mins. Thats the best way i can describe it. You may feel a little pressure but no "pain".
