I have a question for the mommys out there!!! My daughter woke up ysterday puking EVERYWHERE but her temp was 36.7... so I just had he drinking water and electrolights, then she seemed fine and had dinner... THEN today she woke up after nap the same way only now her temp is 38... I called hubby as he has the car and working for another hour and a half and they wont get him on the phone!!! I`m freaking out cause I have no way to get her anywhere to get her checked out... WHAT DO I DO???? shes gotten sick all over the house... right now I have her resting watching t.v.

skittles0607 - 77 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Just keep her happy.. I know kids who are sick are cranky as ever. Keep giving her fluids to keep her hydrated..

Mommyof2boys - 77 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Just keep her happy with something, and resting drinking plenty of fluids. Blood in the urine indicates either a urinary track infection or maybe a kidney stone. You can have fevers and vomiting with those also. I hope she feels better soon. Keep her cozy!

Baby3OnWay - 78 days ago I should have mentioned thats shes 2 and a half and full potty trained day and night but heres my UPDATE Took Kloe to the hospital and her fever will not go down, it was 39 the whole time we were in the hospital! she has blood in her urine and they sent us home for her to take Motrin...

Holly28 - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Its probably too late now, your husband is probably home and you have taken her to get checked out but just in case: I say give her some tylenol and a warm bath to decrease her fever. They say warm not cool or hot when its for a fever. Remember, that kids tend to get high fevers when they are sick and its far less dangerous for them then for us as adults. I am sure she is fine but it those two things don't help then I would take her to the hospital where they will probably give her IV fluids and an alcohol bath.

kbushby - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) she probably just has a flu bug.. the worst thing you could do is give her a whole cup of water at once.. its too much for a sick stomach to handle. you should have her sip her water a little at a time. if shes not hungry dont force her to eat. when she is ready to eat again she will.. she will be fine just off of liquids for a few days. try chicken broth.. or a couple saltines crackers.

jaydsmom - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Is there any way you can get to a drug store (any in walking distance)? Giving your daughter any fever medication orally would be a waste because she would probably just throw it up, but there are acetominophin suppositories just for that occasion. Sounds kinda graoss but it works and you have to get the fever down. If you can't get there, try calling someone and asking them to do it for you or go to a neighbour and ask them. Cool her down with a damp cloth if necessary, and leave her in only a diaper. Now is not the time to swaddle her.

mcbender3 - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) For a week now on and off my son has been puking.. I think it's from his milk but I stopped his milk and he still has a little virus.. It might just be a little virus our daughter is experirencing.

Baby3OnWay - 78 days ago I CALLED TELEHEALTH... SHE GOT ON THE PHONE TO THEM AND TALKED TO THEM...TOO FUNNY. I'M STARTING TO THINK EAR INFECTION...THAT CAN MAKE THEM SICK TOO RIGHT??

Debra - 78 days ago Rating: 5 (1 votes) tylenol for fever- you could take a cab to the ER if you are really concerned. Otherwise- have her eat only bland foods if she can stomach it! Toast with sugar, bananas, rice, diluted fruit juices, water, pedialyte. Do not give her anything hard to digest. Soup broth is good as well. Cool cloths to the forehead will also help with the fever- but try a dose of tylenol again and measure her temp in 30min. If it hasn't gone down, then you may want to bring her to the ER as they can calculate a larger safe dose based on her weight. Give her the maximum dose for her age on the bottle to start with, unless she's underweight- then go an age catagory below.

masha - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) stomach flu. my youngest daughter has it now, only her temp was 40.7 at its highest, we went to the er a few day ago and then to the doc the next day, and its stomach flu. my 28 month old daughter had it a few times too. not much u can do. tylenol for fever, pedilyte and small frequent sips. if u overload her tummy, shell puke. good luck. oh and give her pro biotic yogurt, rice banana apples and toast. avoid veges and other fruits and any other dairy product.

LMO - 78 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my daughter has been doing the same thing the last few days i know there is a bug going around so maybe it could be that or could she have gotten food poisioning...do you have a relative that can take you to the doctor?

Baby3OnWay - 78 days ago P.S. shes 2 1/2 years old!
