I think that I passed my mucus plug this morning... It looked like green snot, but it was only a little bit. Did I some of the mucus plug? I am 35 wks and 4 days by the way...

Debra - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes. Probably you lost some of it. Mine looked like snot, that was light green/grayish in colour. It was only a little bit. i lost chunks over a couple of days. You should inform your practitioner of this development and if you start having contractions, to pay attention to them and note if they become regular or not. It can be normal to loose your mucous plug early and not mean anything, but if it comes out in a large chunk- like the size of a wine cork, then you really have to watch out. Let your physician advise you but this would definately warrant a call.

kathleen - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) their is a picture of a mucus plug u could look at on this site if u want to see if they looked similar. go to forum & information pregnancy the mucus plug

Mommyof2boys - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sounds like you had a little bit of discharge not your mucus plug. Some women describe the mucous plug as looking more like the mucous in your nose. It may look like a thick glob of stringy mucous, thicker than what you would see with normal vaginal secretions. If you are close to going into labor you may see pink, brown, or red blood around the edges of the mucous plug. This is called the “bloody show”.

Baby3OnWay - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i don't think it was... I lost something along those line with my last but it was just mucous discharge... hang in there though

Rebekahs-mama - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sounds like you might have to me, although mine was yellow. Since you said you only passed a little then you may pass only bits at a time like I did. I started around the same time as you and had fully passed it by 37 weeks or so. Congrats on your soon to be baby!

lilmissred - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yeah, Ive never heard of a green plug, u may want to mention that to ur dr Mommy.. ur plug when passed is supposed to look like(sorry) snot with some red

mcbender3 - 119 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Might just be some discharge.. you might have some kind of an infection. When the mucus plug does come out it's in huge chunks and with a tint of red or pink.. not green.
