Me and Darren havnet decided on a babies name yet. We cant seem to come to an agreement. Should we narrow it down 2 3 names we both like and draw from a hat? we are due @ the end of August

madformilton - 194 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would narrow down your list and wait to see it when it's born - some people pick totally different names once they see the baby because it didn't "look" like the names they had in mind.

karenc - 195 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my advice is to pick a couple of favorites and then just choose when you see the baby -- sometimes they just 'fit' one name and not another. here's what we did and it worked really well. I came up w/ 10 boys names and 10 girls names & put a list on the fridge. my husband crossed off names he didn't like and added others he did, and I did the same. in the 8th month we just read them aloud to each other and picked two for each gender. we took them on a piece of paper to the hospital and, when we knew it was a boy, just looked at him and decided right then and there on the name. it was exciting!

He like's one thing I like another anyway what we're going to do is keep praying we'll hear the name and just know thats what it should be, for our first we didn't have a name until a couple of weeks before he was due, same this time. Don't worry it will come to you, and maybe you might just have to see your baby to know for sure that def, that would be the perfect name. good luck!

My hubby and I had a hard time with our first and had our babies name all picked out but the day she arrived we looked at one another and agreed on a totally different name! It will work out no matter what you do!

Its-Chelle - 195 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) such good ideas! especially the one where you can take 2 names you like and make them first and middle names..i had tons of names chosen, of which hubby only liked a few, but we quickly came to one we liked, and middle name was that of his grandfather who passed away..sometimes its just not that easy to pick names..

He/she may not "look" like any of the names that you have chosen and may decide on something completely different! You will know the moment you hold that baby in your arms...

2xmom - 196 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Some babies don't have names until the moment the birth certificate needs to be filled out. There's no need to rush, you have a lot of time. I'm thinking that you still haven't found the "right" name yet. When you two hear it, you'll know it's the right one. I say, "everything comes in it's own time". KarenVG - 196 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) as long as you put in names you both like but not necessarily both love, I would wait until the birth if you are going to do that, you may find out the name that you both like. Mine came to me in the middle of the night 3 days before my second was born, husband liked it so we used it. Hope you find the one you both like! Naming is SO hard isn't it! Especially if you both have very different ideas. Hope you find the perfect name! :0)
