With my daughter I started leaving her in underwear ALL DAY LONG, in car rides and everything and within a week she built up so much pride and confidence that she started refusing the undies at night. I told her soon enough i would take them away and then after a week of her being dry I put her in panties and shes only had one accident since. Her first day using the poty was March 10th of this year (26months) and shes been diaper free daya nd night for about a month now!! Best of luck!
P.S. I still allow her to take her sippy cup of water to bed with her as she has been gettin gup to use the potty and it didn't have any interference with her and bed wetting!

I would still use the pull ups for now. Try to not let her drink before bed or naps. Also have her go potty right b4 and right after going to bed.

Use pull ups, especially if she is a good sleeper ie. nothing wakes her up easily at night. My sister in law had several of her boys in pull ups until they were 8 years old. Sometimes it takes time for a kid's bladder and brain to learn to communicate with one another. In the meantime, dont' make it a big deal with her or she'll have a harder time learning. Also, know that girls learn faster than boys to potty train.

I used pull-ups type products at night. She will learn with time - some times it just takes longer and some patience. Don't stress it - and get some sleep ( changing bedding at night is never fun!)

My son was potty trained within 2wks of him turning 2yrs old. My older daughter though was good during the day,but at naps and night she would have accidents in her pull-ups. I bought a nice water proof mattress pad, said goodbye to her pull-ups, and stopped giving her water at night, it was a bad habit for potty training, she always wanted a cup of water at bedtime. After that she had maybe 3 accidents in 4 months so it went well after that.

my daughter learned how to change herself so I had to hide any pull-ups. I put the pull ups on her at bed time she usually woke up dry, if she was dry I'd take off the pull upand put on undies for the day. She would be more upset about waking up wet because she knew she was suppose to use the potty, and I didnt want to pressure her about bight time bed wetting at 1 and a half years old. I just wanted her to have the basics down. anyway. pull ups at night to maintain her self confidence panties during the day to show she was a big girl.

I would not go with the underwear thing yet, Just try not to let her drink to much before bedtime, when you see her diaper go dry she will be ready, some kids take alot longer to be dry at night. If your child goes to bed without a fuss if she is woken, try waking her up before you go to bed and see if that helps. Also make sure you take her as soon as she is awake as that is often a pee that they are letting go of in their diaper.

For me, my little girl, at age 2 1/2yr. had become completely potty trained. Days and Nights. It worked the best for us to say bye-bye to the diapers/pullups all together. I explained to her that it was important to move on to the potty all the time. So, we cleaned up messes along the way (I have a plastic covering on her matress, under the sheets). She was at a point where she was mostly trained, just needed to get beyond a few messes here and there, so we decided to use underwear all the time. I okayed it with daycare, just sent extra clothes along. I was cleaning messes and washing clothes more often, but it worked. She only had 2 weeks of accidents and then it was over! She also had some night time limitations.....very little to drink at night, and nothing to drink after 7pm. Also, we always had her sit on the potty before bed. It worked for us. Good luck!

I potty trained my kids all the same way. I am currently working with my youngest (she is almost 2). It takes a lot of time and dedication, and some peoole might even find it "mean". My MIL thinks I am mean for making them help clean their messes, but I have found that they don't think it is very fun. I let them wear big girl panties all day with just a t shirt, and when they have an accident, they have to help clean it up, and then go sit on the potty to try to go some more. Then they get to flush the peepee or poopy bye bye. It worked with in 2 weeks with my first 2. They were both 2 and a half. They didn't need diapers at night either. With my 3rd, she is still young, but she understands the concept. She doesn't poop in her diaper any more, it is always on the potty, and only pees in her diaper maybe 2 or 3 times a day. Depending on her mood that day, she will tell me she has to use the potty, and will stay dry all day. Some days she is in in diaper all day, others, she runs around in just her big girl panties, and she does well. I am going to start really trying harder with her in about another month. Hope this helps.
