Hi there, I am 30 weeks pregnant and ever since I found out I was pregnant I`ve had a veginal infection, now last week thursday when I went to the loo I found that I had been passing a pink stuff, then when I went to the doctor the friday she said that seen that I have a viginal infection that is what causing the bleeding and gave me more anti-biotic`s and what so ever, then last night I had to do the washing by hand because my maching broke and I picked up the heavy bucket a few times. Then even since this morning I have been getting a lot of pain around my tummy especially at the top, now its got worse, its all tight at the top, so I have called my sister to take me the hospital she is on her way. But do you guys think that I should not panick?

Hi there, thanks for advise, it was the braxton hicks contractions. They still happening today but otherwise I'm not panicking anymore. Thank you both :)

Do not panic. Never panic. I suggest you start timing them. It is easy with a contraction timer website. Time them until sis gets there and then head to the hospital because it never hurts to be safe.

I think it is wise to go and get checked out. It's better to be safe than sorry. However I think you have probably triggered off your Braxton Hicks contractions ( these are "practice" contractions that the body goes through prior to giving birth.) These can be alarming but are not harmful. My first child they never hurt but my subsequent children, I've had mixes of them being quite painful to just anoying. I hope all goes well and that is all it is. Good luck. And remeber, breath! Try not to hold your breath in worry:-)
