Mommy2twogreatkids - 71 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) WATER is great for this, more fruits and vegies and if needed Milk of Magnesia is safe. But DO NOT go 2 weeks again without a poop you need to call your ob if that happens and ask them.

skittles0607 - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My dr said I can take stool softeners. I never did I increased my liquids. Alot of water and juice helps alot.

chell280181 - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i saw my doctor and was given senna which didnt work at all i then tried lactulose it worked a treat

mrscolegrove - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) walking alot and taking the metimucil tablets it saves you from teh nasty taste just make sure to drink alot of water while you take them and that normally works over night if you cant afford to take them every day

Debra - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Benefiber to my water! Drink lots of water and put some benefiber in it every day. That kept me regular without having to drink something yucky or eat prunes. Eating lots of fruit is good too.

mellowyellow - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) PRUNES PRUNES PRUNES AND.... YEP MORE PRUNES!!!!! LOL

athome - 73 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Prunes are by far the best thing. I had that problem after my caesarian and it hurt like hell. Eat half a bag of prunes to get things started then just a few a day will keep it all regular.

dvsrunt - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't think I'm crazy but I tried those dried, single wrapped prunes!! they are soooo good and well, they do the trick! LOL

sarahann - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I took fibre capsules called Metamucil. They are safe to take during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding. You can get them with added calcium as well. They are good to take if you feel like you can't eat or drink anything to give you that extra fibre. They work brilliantly!

gr8scottswife - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Water. Fiber. Walking.

Brandi J. - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Taking a fiber supplement helped me when I was preg. w/ #4. You will have to take it everyday, skipping days will not allow it to work effectively. Eat more whole grains as well. Drinking Juice can help too. If this doesn't help, then maybe taking a stool softener will soften it enough, so that when you do use the restroom it isn't as hard.

asutori - 74 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I did what everyone usually says and that was drink more water and prune juice... And I must say the prune juice part has actually helped me! Because my appetite has been so iffy, I figured I would not be able to eat the high fibre cereals or bars like some other people have suggested, so the prune juice has worked good. I only drink one glass a day. Good luck!!
