My baby had a chorid plexus cyst at 20 weeks...well at my 28 wk u/s it was gone but a new one has formed....Has this happened to anyone??

soonmamax4 - 151 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) happeneed to me with the last 2 pregnancies...dont overly stress about it, all that they are is a soft marker for trisomy 18....even on the off chance the cysts dont go away it DOESNT HARM YOUR BABY...the cysts themselves do not do anything to harm the health or development of the child...it just brings up the need for a more thourough u/s to rule out trisomy 18...which if your child has this it would be very visible by 28 weeks as the chromosome dusorder carries heavy deformities...alot of docs talk to you in a way the kindof scares you and gets you really worried, but i spoke to a specialist and these cysts alone, in any baby, does not mean anything is wrong, they just have to look a little closer, dont worry, baby will be fine...

Baby3OnWay - 151 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yes.. they tend to vanish before birth though. Did they say anything about more ultrasounds to keep an eye on it, thats usually what they do!
